Should I Upgrade My Lightning Spell To Lvl 4 Before I move into TH 7?
I was wondering, because I was thinking about it for days now. Lvl 4 Lightning Spell: 1,000,000 Elixir. I only have 700,000 Elixir. Should I wait or go to TH 7?

You dont have to but i did during my th7 upgrade so its one more thing you dont have to upgrade
If you have nothing else for your builders to do, then you should certainly upgrade TH.
However, if you can keep your buiders busy there is no better time to save up the Elixir than late TH7.
upgrade before, because you're going to be overwhelmed with troop upgrades which you will want to finish fast so I say to get level 4 before going into TH 7

He's got it 100% correct here, the level 4 lightning spell helped me steal the DE for my Burger King astonishingly quickly. When my spell factory upgraded to 3, i was able to steal the last 4500 DE in a few hours, it was amazing.Quote:

I went to TH7 before I maxed all my spells and everything in the lab in TH6 (I did max the troops I use)....I just clicked the upgrade to TH8 and even having my lab working constantly I still have not maxed out the lab as quickly as I maxed out all my defenses and walls (including BK to level 3) . So my advice is to recognize that if you have 5 builders, then the lab is the thing that can potentially take the longest time to upgrade at a given level, so anything you plan to use in TH7 I would definitely max out the lab upgrades before or as you progress.
This is just my experience, but the other aspect to consider is the stronger your troops and spells are, the more likely you are to maximise the loot from each raid and or 2 and 3 star bases that you might otherwise 1 or 2 star.
BTW , I personally didn't set out to lightning DE all through TH7 (I did occasionally do it to get something from a failed raid haha), to me there are better uses for it, like wiping out an entire Clan Castle full of troops and or knocking out the mortar closest to your initial attack. Just like upgraded troops it has a knock on effect early in the battle that will allow you to steal more DE in the long run :P
I may also be alone here but I doubt it....I would also make a point of revenging all lightning DE and resource raids with particular care and venom just on general principle. :)
