Nerfing Troop Donations

While it's all fun and games giving high powered troops to lower levels, at some point I think there has to be a line drawn.

Max troops in the war CC can completely change the complexion of a TH6 or TH7 (or even TH8) attack or defense.

Also, the TH10's in the clan are exceedingly burdened with providing a majority of the troop donations.

What at I propose is the following. Troops donated will be limited to the recipients Laboratory level plus one. Meaning plus one laboratory level, not one troop level. Troops donated that exceed this limit will simply be reduced to the highest allowable troop level.

The effect will be sharing the load of donating troops more equitably across the clan, especially at clan level 5 and up. It also means that clans who choose to include a broader range of TH levels won't be giving up automatic three stars at the bottom and shortening the field for the rest of the war.

This most certainly doesn't need a balance. Just...nah. This has been around since the beginning. Deal with it. There is nothing about this that needs to be changed

Yea, absolutely not needed.

If your TH6-7 doesnt know how to lure and kill anything in the CC, they don't deserve to be in war.

There's no such think as an unlurable TH6/7. If you can lure, you can kill and win.

Why would TH10s be burdened with providing a majority of the troops? TH9s are able to donate maxed level troops, and even TH8s are able to donate maxed level of certain troops (balloons, wizards). My TH10 account had 5500 donations last season, and my TH9 had 12,500. Tell me how my TH10 was burdened with all the troop donations?

Btw, at no point did all those donations feel like a chore; I was glad to give them out to everyone. I took care of my offensive buildings/farming troops early, so I was happy to use all that extra elixir towards helping our low levels farm with level 7 giants, which is a huge perk for our clan that keeps members here, along with our great war streak/record.

I think the adjustment is a lot more minor than people are making it out to be. But I hear and respect your views.

That's too much micromanaging, I don't think I'd want to spend so much time making sure the right player donated the right level. I fill up the ccs and my cos top off the rest.

If implemented as suggested there would be no additional managing or thought process needed. This would not restrict anyone from donating any level of troop. It would simply level the troop upon receipt in those relatively few cases where applicable.
