Revenge Attack on Hoppers

Guys we really need some sort of system to help minimize all the hopping that has been going on. Its really annoying and making the game for me less enjoyable. It would be amazing if you guys could come up with a system where if a clan member joins and leaves within lets say 7 days, you have a right to revenge attack them for hopping. I really hope you take this idea in to consideration. Thank you for your time.

Hoping has always been here and always will. Can't stop it unless you do something like boom beach where you can only join a few clans a day.

Can be abusable, EASILY. I could resource trade with this system. Also, I want my freedom to choose a good clan. I don't want to be in someone's bad clan, so I leave to hopefully find a better one. Is there a problem with that? Forcing people into a clan will NEVER work, they can just destroy your clan.

Sure it would work. I'm not saying you have to stay for 7 days. Supercell can make the time shorter like 24 hrs or even 12 hours it better than nothing. They just need a system to minimize the hopping. How do you like to have new members join, request troops and bounce out an hour or less later. Same goes for war. I'm tired of having members join for war then leave in the middle of it. There needs to be some sort of hopping deterrent.

Again . . . No. This is a bad idea every time it is suggested because it will cause more, worse problems than "hoppers" already represent. Here is pretty much everything you need to know about dealing with hoppers. Both what will happen if you get your way and how everybody else has learned to deal with 99% of them quickly and easily.

First, SC has a long standing policy of not putting a negative statistic/badge/mark/rank/etc. of any kind on any players profile. They have a fairly strict no name-n-shame policy, as they should. You can accept those ideas as ruled out at face value.

Long story short, you are requesting a way to force people who don't want to be in your clan, who you don't even want in your clan, to be stuck in your clan. NOTHING good can come of this. Bad idea every time it is suggested.

Also, in an effort to not only help the OP understand the horrible repercussions of their idea, here is a list of many of the most common things successful clans do to prevent "D-bag hoppers" from being a nuisance (a nuisance, not a problem). Quoting myself from a recent thread again . . .

Others may chime in with additional ideas but those are the basic ones. Follow those and hoppers will end 99% instantly. Not to mention you will crack a smile when you apply your boots to their crack.

All of us clan leader types have experienced this and learned to preventing through our own leadership skills and clan rules. There is no need to institute a system that will punish the most social and giving players while making the lowest quality players more destructive.
In my time on the forum here I still have yet to see the answer to these simple questions. Why do you want to force somebody that you don't want in your clan, to be stuck in your clan?

There is some good stuff here but i'm not talking about forcing them to stay. If they want to leave, let them. If they leave within a specified time you should be allowed to attack them for hopping. Just like you can revenge people that attack you. Same concept. I wouldn't want someone that didn't want to stay to be forced to do so.

It would still be abusable.

1) Mini with full storages joins clan
2) Mini leaves quickly and rearranges the base to make it incredibly easy to get all loot
3) Mini goes offline
4) You revenge mini for free loot

How is that abusing? If they decide to do the steps above, that is on them. Still doesn't make sense to me. Its a simple one time revenge. Done. Don't HOP!

Mini means another of your accounts. I'm sure you know that.

That would mean free loot for you. The mini doesn't suffer any loss because you own both accounts, and you get free loot. That's not the spirit of the game.
