Welcome to the dark barracks. Here we train troops that literally born out of the shadows. Today I would like to introduce you to our newest recruit, the Hydra.
"The Hydra is a terrifying presence on the battle field, finish it off yearly before things get out of hand!"
The Hydra is a very unique troop every time one of it's heads is chopped off, two more grow back! So says the myth... However, that would be very overpowered and would probably get complicated quickly. So as a troop I have made a couple restrictions. The Hydra is a four legged beast that starts out with two heads. Each head spits fire and as you upgrade the Hydra it's number of heads increases. The maximum number of heads that a Hydra can have is five which would be available at level 4. Here are some stats for the Hydra

FavTarget Any
Weakness Inferno tower (x1.2-1.5) Heroes (x2)
*Also deals x1.2-1.5 damage to Inferno Tower*
In the dark barracks you can set the Hydra to either target multiple targets or each target the same.
When an inferno tower is set to the same mode as a Hydra is it will deal anywhere from x1.2 to x1.5 damage to a Hydra, with the damage percentage increasing by .1 for every extra head the Hydra has. In return, the Hydra also deals the same damage increase per head to an inferno tower.
The Hydra is also weak to heroes because in ancient mythology heroes were always the ones to slay a Hydra
The dark barrack upgrade that unlocks the Hydra will only be available at town hall level ten.
Good ways to defend against the Hydra
Surround your inferno towers with cannons, have one inferno tower set to each mode.
Trivia
The Hydra is the only troop in the game to have a decrease of a stat upon upgrade. The attack speed decreases because all heads attack at the same time, no matter if they are set to one target or two.
Hydra's can hit targets behind walls but will also deal damage to the walls in front of the targets because of the splash damage.
If a Hydra is targeting a town hall it will immediately drop all other targets and focus all of it's heads on the town hall. Same goes if there is only one building left.
If CC troops appear nearby the Hydra will attack them but only with one head per target.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post! Please tell me if there is anything that needs to be nerfed or buffed or just tell me if you would like to see this troop in the game. Thanks again!
