Okay, then I'll wait for BOROYOB. Thanks for all the help, people.

I just checked BOROYOBs profile, and his last forummessage was Nov. 3rd, so difficult to say when/if he will be back here. If you tap his forumid, it should be possible to try and send an email from here.
There is a large amount if work in this thread, but there's no real copyright on it, but still maybe best to get his acceptance of what it will be used for.
My signature defenitely shows, that this thread works. Wouldn't have cought all the fish I have without this thread.
Hi, I've been playing for a little over a year, am at level 94, and am finally interested in tacking the fishing goal. I came here for advice, but the thought of wading through 138 pages completely overwhelms me! (Insert anxiety attack!).
Can any if you experts paste a link to the best post to go to? I'd love to find out which fish hang out in which spots and the best way to catch them.
Thank you!
Hi Bella,
this might help you out in your fishing quest. I am sure there is more info on this forum too.
http://hayday.wikia.com/wiki/Fish
also, check out page 137 of this thread! Great info!
In the "Search" window type in "fishing spot". And then when it comes up with search results select the 5th one Down.....
"got all 102 fish+......" is the BEST thread to look at. Of coarse go to the post number 1 of the ENTIRE thread for a map + Grid on what & where to catch it.
That Wikia page is probably best, well you got 2 pages to check out.......Cool...yeah ;-)
Good luck
I have been trying to find the best resource to help me catch all of the fish - the below tables seem to be the most comprehensive, however I was wondering why there are two tables - what is the difference? (sorry if I'm late to the party on this one)
Updated tables:

Notice: I need to fill in some info about the speed of fish (explained in the table). If you catch any mistakes or have new info, quote this and tell me what needs to be changed/added.[/QUOTE]
I use this table a lot. They reflect the same information but organized in two different ways. The first is by fishing spots and the second is by type of medals for fish. I started off using only the top table, since I had a lot of missing fish. I would see what number spot I had open and intended to fish from and then looked at the number's column to figure out what color lure to use for the rarest fishes.
Now that the majority of fishes have been caught for me in the book, I'm searching for specific medals. Say I need the gold medal perch, I just look at the second table now under the gold medal column to determine which spot number I have the highest probability of not only catching a perch, but a gold perch. etc.
Hope that helps clarify.
After 20 gold hooks spent and no special non event fishes , i used this table , remembering ffwife97 advice it has to be feisty or it isnt the one i caught a goldfish last night
Tonight I finally caught the elusive Golden Trout. Bronze 2.007 lbs
Small but a least I now have one of every type of fish in the book.
(It will be a while before I start trying to fill in all the medals)
I am so glad I will not have to be making anymore gold lures for a while.
Now I can start saving my gold vouchers again.
This forum and the hay day wikia made fishing so much easier.
Wish I had read the post on how to catch a Golden Trout (video included) before I wasted
so many gold vouchers.
Thanks again.
