Bring back upgrading lvl 8 walls with elixir

dear supercell, you should bring back the ability to upgrade walls to lvl 8 with elixir as this problem is affecting nearly all TH8s in the game.
all my TH8 clan mates have the same problem.
it's not fair having all these storages full with no use at all, it's a waste of our time and effort.
now don't you start telling me that if they do that, there won't be any elixir left for TH9s cause i don't care.
we worked hard to get all these resources and we are not just gonna let you bully us with lvl 6 giants and take it all.
if you're a good player and experienced clasher, you'll find enough elixir no matter how.
please i would like an official response from a supercell employee in this thread regarding this issue.
it's all just a waste of time and effort and you should fix it.

Dear OP, you do realized that this topic has been brought up so many times in forum before, don't you? If i were you, i would log in and farm those walls now rather than wasting my time and energy to make a complain threads in forum for something that SC won't rewind.

I don't think you realise how cheap lv8 walls are

If you're a good and experienced clasher, you'll find enough gold to upgrade you walls ,they implemented this thing when i was a new th8 at first i was really furious but as time goes on i find that upgrading using gold isnt really hard .Just free up one builder then upgrade whenever you have 500k or stack it up and upgrade when you have a available builder you might as well put elix storage near th to ensure snipe since you guys have abundance of it .

Caring is sharing. I can use that elix to finish my Level 10 walls, so please just put the stores outside your walls.
