Ideas for clan wars.Problem with people leaving during clan wars. Needs to be solved

This is my first time posting. Lately i have seen many people leaving during clan wars in my own clan and even the enemy clan. This leads to defeat in war because of that person who left. IT CAN BE FIXED BY DOING THE FOLLOWING: if in the next update members who are in clan wars wont be able to leave OR by substituting someone else who is of similar experience level and town hall. Although I like the substituting idea better

Substitution was the first idea that hit my mind when I faced that problem for the first time.

But in the end, I'm not in favor of this idea, because this game involves a very strong social aspect, and such feature would alter it.

Leaders have to manage and care about who they recruit, who they include in wars, and the best clans are the ones who have friendly, loyal, decent players. But in the first place it's all about how the leader manages that. And it's an entire part of this game.
If you've recently started your clan, you will have new guys who aren't loyal yet, and you can't blame them for leaving, yes it sucks but it's up to the leaders to guess whether they'll stay or not. If your clan is not that new but you still regularly have leavers, that means you're including too many new members at once in wars, or that your current members are still not loyal enough. It's all up to the leader to manage that.

Also, each member is given two attacks per war, and one of the reasons for this is to compensate leavers. Now if the remaining members still can't get enough stars to win the war, that means your members are just bad. Again, it's up to the leader to manage that, you'll eventually have to teach them strategies, or kick them.
In my clan, we're quite decent and we always get at least 95% of the stars, without using all our attacks. That leaves room for a couple new recruits every war. But remember, the smooth running of a clan initially depends on the leader and coleaders. If you can't get your clan running fine, you're still missing something to be a leader (no offence, maybe it'll come http://forum.supercell.net/images/smilies/wink.png)

By letting people hop in wars to substitute leavers, that will make the managing too easy, and being leader is an extremely demanding role. By keeping that role difficult, it encourages most people to stay in clans rather than have everyone willing to start their own clan to be a leader.
Btw that is also a reason why Supercell added Clan Levels, IMO. If someone is in a good clan, it will discourage them from starting from the scratch just for the sake of being leader.

Thanks I understand now !!! But my idea is still a good one if for instance many people leave at once because of some disagreement with other members. The war I was just in the enemy clan 4 people left and we won the war because of that

Leptyx did a good job on the substitution part. On the topic of forcing them to remain in your clan . . .

Again . . . No. This is a bad idea every time it is suggested because it will cause more, worse problems than "hoppers" already represent. Here is pretty much everything you need to know about dealing with hoppers. Both what will happen if you get your way and how everybody else has learned to deal with 99% of them quickly and easily.

First, SC has a long standing policy of not putting a negative statistic/badge/mark/rank/etc. of any kind on any players profile. They have a fairly strict no name-n-shame policy, as they should. You can accept those ideas as ruled out at face value.

Remember, this is already a person who doesn't care if they hurt your clan. Long story short, you are requesting a way to force people who don't want to be in your clan, who you don't even want in your clan, to be stuck in your clan. NOTHING good can come of this. Bad idea every time it is suggested.

Also, in an effort to not only help the OP understand the horrible repercussions of their idea, here is a list of many of the most common things successful clans do to prevent "D-bag hoppers" from being a nuisance (a nuisance, not a problem). Quoting myself from a recent thread again . . .

Others may chime in with additional ideas but those are the basic ones. Follow those and hoppers will end 99% instantly. Not to mention you will crack a smile when you apply your boots to their crack.

All of us clan leader types have experienced this and learned to preventing through our own leadership skills and clan rules. There is no need to institute a system that will punish the most social and giving players while making the lowest quality players more destructive.
In my time on the forum here I still have yet to see the answer to these simple questions. Why do you want to force somebody that you don't want in your clan, to be stuck in your clan?
