Keyboard modification - ability to use iOS/android keyboard in game plus copy/paste

One of the features I find quite frustrating is the use of the game keyboard.

Many times I mistype words and only notice after I've pressed enter. Having auto correct or some version of it would help a lot.

Additionally the ability to copy and paste would be useful. Say you are checking out some clan, you could select the clan tag and link it into chat window. Even better if that link actually opens up the page in game for people to view. Would be a great asset.

Same for editing a post, being able to select individual letters/ delete mistypes would be great.

Out of game use for copy/paste may be abused but is useful. I'm often checking out clans websites that reference clan codes. Going in and out of the game to get the right code can be a pain. Copy/paste would fix this.

A change to text boxes to allow edit and cut n paste would require a major rewrite. Same with a linkable text chat or mail.
Don‘t expect it too soon unless it’s already a work in progress.


I agree it would be handy but not totally necessary.

My Android let’s me cut and paste from a text editting app into CoC and I use this method routinely for clan mail. I often use voice recognition for clan chat instead of typing.
