Name Undecided - A DE Goblin
So, my level 5 goblins are getting boring now - they aren't good enough to use anymore, too vulnerable to splash and too weak. I propose a DE goblin - any name ideas are welcomed - which is obviously trained in the DB, 2x damage to resources, 30 movement speed, etc.
Obviously, it needs to be different to a goblin. My idea was similar to the golemite / lava hound 'split-up' idea. The goblin takes up 1 space - (maybe 5 DE training cost) and when it dies it makes x goblinettes. It's HP and DPS would be reasonably similar to goblins, maybe worse HP, but the goblinettes would have 1/2 or 1/3 HP and DPS of DE goblin. This would mean goblins would continue the fight after they die (which would combat goblin's vulnerability to splash).
THE LOOK : I had the idea of a frazzled, less mischievous goblin, with a dark hood and maybe inside pockets full of resources (maybe as goblins are focussed on gold, they could be focused on elixir / DE (just for the image ofc)). Ideas here are welcomed, as I only have a very small idea.
THE STRATEGY : I hope they would be used as either a clear-up troop or with golems / giants and jump spells - being able to send in golems and giants to distract defences while the DE goblin sucks up all the resources.
DEFENSIVE STRATEGY : Now, I had a few ideas for this, but because of the most likely aforementioned strategy, I feel giant bombs would be soaked up by Go/Gi. So, BOMBS! They aren't useful for much, and surrounding your resources / storages with bombs could kill the DE goblins easily (as I said, they would have less HP than normal goblins).
Please, add to this idea. It's not refined yet so need improvements - also suggest and attacking / defensive strategies!
