Looking for help with a TH8.5 war base

Ok so I have 5 days and 9 hrs before I'm a legitTH9. I already have a farm base I want to use but I need a war base. There are tons out here for all 8's and 9's etc. But I have only found 1 thread for an 8.5. So truth be told I am a horrible base builder. I don't like YouTube bases because well.. isn't it obvious. My th8 base was a combo of a lot of bases and I tweaked and tweaked.. until it was up to my standards. I know base basics.. centralized cc, dgb spots, storages to block ADs etc.. but I'm stumped for an 8.5. Everyone has xbows spots and I'm not getting them for a while. So if anyone can help me out.. direct to a good base builder, have any ideas, just anything will be helpful at this point. Thanks.

And what may that price be? 160 less dps (looking at maxxed xbows for that figure btw.) Yeah there is that but both myself and another clanmate are running 8.5 route and it prioritizes hero and wall levels above defenses. Yes you pay in dps on defense but even my warbase (I hit th9 about 3-4 weeks ago) has yet to see any th8 3 star it and most low th9s struggle against an anti-3 design with a central aq.

@OP I honestly suggest looking up some anti 3 star designs then following the basics for them (centralized heros, cc etc.) And then attempting to design you own adding tweaks until it is to your liking. Most casual clans will have difficulty with the base, attempting to gowipe it many times to no avail. Gat your queen as high as you can as soon as you can (I'm personally gunning for lv10 queen) Have fun man!

I asked for help with a war base.. so yeah.. putting a TH outside.. not an option
