I need new attack strategys... please

I am a TH9 and have been struggling in wars only getting 2 stars constantly on bases that can easily be 3 starred
I have no idea how to execute the right attack and what compositions to use...
I've been using GoWiPe for a while now and definitely need a new strategy because GoWiPe just doesn't cut it.
My troops:
-Lvl1 Golem, Valkyrie, Witches
-Lvl3 Hogs, Minions, Dragons, Pekkas
-Lvl5 Wizards, Barbs, Archers, Balloons
-Lvl6 Giants, Wall breakers
& My heroes are slacking... Lvl5 AQ / Lvl7 BK

I need new strategies for Th9... Please and thank you!

You need to max your Loons(these should have been your first upgrade :/) , Hogs, and Golems out (ideally valks as well) before you can three star 9s. Right now you need to stick to GoWiPes or maybe just attack den for three ...actually that's what you should do

Thank you for the feedback! I'm definitely knocking those upgrades out first.

i I hope I didn't sound like a jerk. Loons hogs and golems are the most important troops at 9 followed closely by valks. (I'm not a great hogger so I do a lot of VaHoLo and VaLoon attacks when I can't LaLoon a base)s. Attacking down should work. You'll crush any th8 with ease!

Which do you prefer? VaLoon, VaHoLo or LaLoon and for which TH? I'd like to use one of those after i get my upgrades going.

These are all for 9

it depends on the base

if I can reach the queen with 2 golems 3 wizards 3 wall breakers a jump and my king plus take out two ADs and lightning the CC I will do a shattered LaLoon

if i can trigger one set of DGB with 5 hogs plus take out 2 defenses and pull Cc I'll Hog it (mostly shatter or stone not much CBing now)

if if I can trigger several DGB sets but queen is hard to reach I'll do a VaHoLo
and if 2 or more ADs are in the same compartment or has a cluttered core I'll VaLoon

You need big boy troops to use the big boy strategies.

Clash of Clans TH 9 lava hound, Warriors Barbarian king win 3 star may help.

Hey sfnation, I would say the best 3-star BASIC strats for TH9 vrs TH9 in order is Hogs, then Lavaloon, then GoWiPe. The more advanced strats are superior, but harder to use.

Are your heal spells max? Rage max? To use Hog strat effectively max heal is important, to use lavaloon rage is important.
If I were you, I would focus on getting to hog raid first (max heal and hogs) then max loons, lavahounds, and rage. Then max out your GoWiPe troops (including jump spell), then the rest of your troops. Keep in mind if you do get level 1 lavahounds, with level 6 loons and max rage, you should be ok for most/all non-maxxed TH9's, depending on setup. So also work on getting all your dark troops unlocked.

Wait a second, your a TH9 with level 6 WBs?!?! H@cker?
