War base tagging

By now supercell is well aware of this I am sure so I am not going to go into detail about this feature.

I even built a website with a forum

The problem is people are just not willing to use 3rd party/outside source to communicate. The in game chat is not effective becuase people just dont read all the messages or it just gets lost in the chat.

Yes it is just a game but some people like to be successful at it and put alot of time into it. I have people who scout a base and spend alot of time doing so.. when the war starts a player attaccks that base becuase they was unaware it was already called. This sometimes creattes conflict in the clan.


Why not suoercell? The programing to add a simple button next to the enimies base to tag it with players name is not hard. Heck I could do it for you if you would like.

Supercell lets get this done.. lets make the game more enjoyable for everyone.

If your clan mates will not use clashcaller, etc., then they won't use in-game support either.

It's a player issue, not a SC issue.

I agree, I looked over Clashcaller and it's an incredibly efficient model, but the problem is that you need to get up to 50 members on board with it. It's hard enough building and maintaining a well-organized, communicative, and disciplined clan as is (we do in ours, but a lot of work and time went into building it into what it is now), but trying to get everyone to use a 3rd party site only makes things more difficult. I see no reason why Supercell can't implement a similar--maybe slightly more basic--system into their game so that it's all there in their client, which would do wonders freeing up the chat boards as well.

I actually just made a thread focusing on the other aspect of this--making notes for war strategies--so that the chat board doesn't get cluttered with tons of repeated posts on how to hit certain bases, and both features could be implemented by Supercell to help improve our ability to keep a well-organized war clan running.

That is completely flawed logic. They may be totally on board to communicate and coordinate attacks as best they can in game, but have no desire to bring in a bunch of 3rd party apps/websites to get people on board. One quick aspect of this I can let you know is that our website filters at work block the site completely for its classification as a gaming site. Our filters are relatively relaxed, so I can only imagine how many others have restrictions to it as well. Just put a similar feature in-game, is there really a reason to fight this?

If Supercell really wanted us to have to use those websites and apps in conjunction with the game, they should have us download it as part of a bundled thing when you get the game, instead of just the game. If anything, they should want to keep all coordination/communication in-game, as it keeps people having the game open for longer periods of time, which increases opportunities for earning revenue.

There is absolutely room for some form of strategy tools to help coordinate war efforts. SC has even added a "dibs" system to their under consideration list. While I would prefer something like the interface described by the link in my sig the truth is a simple dibs/call/tag system would work in most cases.

The option to tag a war base only makes sense.

I think they should leave it as it is. They might be doing that so that its all about the team effort and having an organized clan. If what you want happens, any clan with crappy leaders could be organized. I think it is part of the strategy of the game to be good leaders and work as a team.

I agree. My clan does 20v20 wars and it's perfect size but 50v50 wars is extremely hard to manage using Clashcaller.

Not all clans are the same.. my clan is made up mostly of adults who have to work, clean, cook, shop, pay bills and the other million things. So, no matter how hard a "leader tries" or how good a leader is, Its almost impossible for them to be online at the same time in the 2 days a war is happenin.
