Due to the graphics and the way the game is its always going to be battery draining. Don't forget even when you logged off its running in the background so best option is turn off the internet connection when u don't play. To fix it well that's for the phone makers to do.
Get an ipad, you can't ask a lot to a mobile battery. Also take into account that it's WiFi (3g and above drain it even more) + graphics (the screen is what takes most of the battery) + the performance of the game itself. There's not much they can do

You're right... I mean they don't even change AI algorithms which are more important to the gameplay why would they enhance the battery performance... My battery stats say coc takes 14% of the battery, if they change it to 10% would that make me more happy? No...Quote:

My battery lasts 3 hours playing the game and that after 1 year of excessive usage. This is a 3D game. Of course it will drain the battery life.
This is just not true. I play games that are several times better in terms of graphics. And they last twice as long as Clash of Clans. It is well known that this game is badly optimised as far as power consumption is concerned.Quote:

While waiting (not logged off), go into war preparation screen or somewhere. The main screen where 200+ units and buildings simulation do take up processing power. I notice roughly 1-2 hours extra time doing this on my iPad.
You can still open the chat window.
Playing on phone device, I suggest as above, plug into charger.
I read from somewhere playing games while plug in will shorten your battery life. However, using the lighter apps such as the communication apps is ok.Quote:

Lower CPU frequency it will help. Root/Jailbreak needed tho. Or try calibrating your battery.
Have been playing CoC for 1.5 years on my 3-4 years old iPad2 WiFi, weekday will leave it on 4-5 hours. Weekend will be 7-10 hours straight. Yes, I encounter you have been online for too long or your villagers need some rest.Quote:

From personal experience, it does seem to be true. My already deteriorating battery died very fast when I started playing Clash while being charged. As a new TH9, I did that to protect my loot. As a new TH10, and with a new battery, I won't be doing it again.Quote:
