TH7 Help Please

Hi guys,

I am new to the forum and wondered if I could please get some feedback for my TH7 base. I have seen in a few places that I should max out TH7 before upgrading to TH8, why is this?

Your defense and walls needs to be maxed out before you step to TownHall 8 simply because you need to in order to defend your base from high level attacks.

My advice is to have patience :) and have fun while upgrading all those.

Your base is a grid, which is decent, though could be a lot better. People recommend you to max your TH7 base before carrying on because its better in the long run, saves you the time of doing it when youre a TH8 where the loot penalty applies. Here is the breakdown:

Positives
- good defences for your lvl, especially the wiz towers and mortars
- segmented storages
- lots of compartments to slow down wbs
- ADs are well positioned to cover the most area

Negatives
- non centralized cc (a centralised cc which cannot be lured or baited can help tremendously in your defences)
- mortars are not in a triangular formation (a triangular formation would cover more of your base)
- lots of t-junctions/ intersections ( these would allow well placed wbs to open 2 compartments in one go, reducing effectiveness of compartments)

other than that you look pretty good for your level, just focus on fixing the negatives and keep upgrading your defences, buildings and walls so you can max out your base :)

The main reason to max, is that if you level up your TH too early, you will start to hate the game, as your defences will be crushed 90% of the time, and you'll find it hard to get decent loots to upgrade the stuff you could have upgraded before.

You might want to work on your air defenses, and I think it's best to have your motars in a triangular shape
