As a TH 10 Im currently in the process of leveling up my golem and pekka for use in war, gowipe obviously. Since Ive never really used gowipe in war on a regular basis I havnt gained much experience, but when my troops are maxed I plan on specializing in using it. If anybody can throw up a link to a video or could post their own comprehensive guide on how to use the strategy at th 10, I would really appreciate it!

The best thing is practice. I say this from experience as I use GoWiPe on 40% normal attacks and 95% CW attacks. I'm TH10 all troops maxed. One of the 1st things you should do is look at base type; is it open or closed, spread or compact. I put all bases into one or more of these categories to get me started. For my play style I typically use 4 golem,2 pekka,15 wizard, 5 wall breaker. Then I adjust from there based on the base I'm looking at. My CC is usually 8 wiz,3 archer, BK20,AQ17. Spells are typically 4 rage ,1 jump. To me TH10 with maxed troops is kinda where I don't worry as much about defending CC troops as I usually just absorb and run over them.This is what I do and adjust accordingly I know it's not exactly what you were asking but if you just keep using it you will start to notice patterns based on bases you face.Quote:

I've been a th10 for roughly 4 months and have lvl 33/30 heros. I will NEVER again use Pekkas in war for achieving 2* against th10 bases we can't 3* in our clan.
After dozens upon dozens of war attacks, testing various gowixx builds, I found the best 2* strat is 4-5 golems, 18-24 wiz, wbs and a few trash clean up troops like archers or mins. Pekkas add no value and in most cases yield less base destruction. They also tend to be the main source behind the "oh ♥♥♥♥, wasn't expecting that to happen," moments.
I would encourage you to play around with pure gowi builds using 2 jump spells. If you really want to use Pekkas, there are countless vids on popular clash YouTube channels.
You speak of Pekka's going shopping/wondering off. I don't have that problem at all since I deploy golems,wiz,heroes, cc then wbs first. after everything is cleared and holes in wall here come my pekkas and they go right where I need them too.Quote:

Funneling is easy. Predicting the patching of Peekas once they breech the outer layer is not always as easy. Sure, you can have a relative idea where they will advance as they get deeper into the base, but I personally do not like "unpredictable" events happing in my war attacks. It's similar to using surgical loons. People use them for pushing because you know exactly where they will advance once deployed. I feel the same way about gowi. I can use it to surgically pick apart any max th10 base with very little chance of something happening that I didn't intend.
The other issue I have with Pekkas is the slow attack speed and duplicate output of dps. If you watch the attack animations from Pekkas, watch how often they actually land a strike and contribute to the buildings destruction. I found all too often, that a building died from either wiz or my AQ while the Pekka was approaching a building or in the process of striking it.
Feel free to use Pekkas. They can be fun. Personally, I just find surgical deployment of quad/penta golems with wiz/hero support to be way more effective.
Edit: Here's a great vid that talks about how to 2* th10 bases. Notice how pekkas are not used to breech the base, but surgically to clear trash. This is the style of attack I'm referring to. His channel is also a great channel to sub if you want to watch high lvl attacks.

As a capped th10 once I see someone attacking me with quad/quatro golem, I know that at best I'm only giving up 1 star, and that's fairly rare. Any half decent town layout will pull your tanks away from the middle leaving your squishy wizards to be quickly picked off. That's where pekkas can become useful. Aside from their dps they also carry a lot of HP can adequately serve as a backup tanking unit. This has just been my experience, so count it for what it's worth.
Most ppl that use 4-5 golems use the Galadon (or whichever popular youtuber posted the vid) and it's not how they should be used. If I recall correctly, they lumped all golems together and used double jump in a linear placement toward the core. Again, reference the URL that I posted for how to properly execute this strategy. You almost have try not to 2* with this strat.Quote:
