New Hero Speculation (It's not what you think)

So as many of us know, a new hero has been requested many times, the goblin hero. Most think it may come at town hall 11. HOWEVER, I have my own theory about what this hero (if one is released) may be.

I don't think the traditional request of a goblin king may come for these reasons:


SC has implemented the barbarian king and the archer queen. Their counterparts are the barbarian and archer (duh!) - the 2 troops used in barch and also the first 2 troops in the light barracks...

What if SC doesn't implement a goblin king but a minion lord or minion something. The minion is used in BAM (Barbarian, Archer, Minion)... The minion is also the first troop in the dark barrack..

Not saying they will give a hero, but just my thought on what it may be if one is released

Any thoughts?

i don't think that they even will release a hero…. As much as i would want them to, it would just be way to OP with three heroes...

I think a third hero would be good for town hall 11. Generally, new town halls get an extra level for everything and a third hero would help balance things out.

Finally someone actually understood what I meant

A new hero will definitely be OP...

BUT, if maybe you could only activate 2 at a time for attack and defense, it could work...

OP not statwise but OP in the sense of having 3 heroes at once. Imagine having 3 LVL 40 heroes lol. Like I said 2 would be fine at a time if they actually added another.

Id like to think as a new hero they would implement a flying hero. So either a minion Loon drag or lava hero.
Minion hero quite possible
Loon hero would make things a little too easy.
Drag hero would have to be ridiculously strong and a lava hound hero would take way too long get. And the only way they could make it work would be to up the dps

In conclusion I'd say a minion hero would be best as a flying hero

Last option would be a healing hero with higher hp about the same healing per sec as a max healer. Maybe a longer range or larger healing area

What people haven't realised is that giants and goblins switched places. If the next hero is an elixir troop, it will more likely be giant rather than goblin.

Exactly smasher. I don't think I was active during the apocalypse - thank god if it was as bad as it sounds

They should add like 30 hero types, but only let you use two at a time.

This thread isn't about that, it's just about the reality that there are other, better, hero options then a goblin king (which now that I think of would be OP as all it would do is target your storages - now tell me that's not op...)

I was thinking of that and I think a minion lord/prince/king/... Would be way better than a goblin king or a giant hero because the heroes nice thing is that they don't have favorite target
for example why the goblin king is very bad : don't think just of war, in normal raids attacking with giants for example will become unfair because with a goblin king the loots will be easily taken
but a minion king who have any target will be fair as other heroes are :)

First of all i do hope there will be a 3rd hero and it doesn't mean its gonna be OP if they implement it with TH 11 and new defenses new troops bigger map so and so. i think you could reach a balance even with 3 heroes .
I really don't know why you people want Goblin King so much. in my opinion CoC already has a King (barbarian) and a Queen (archer) so i think the next royal title could be Prince or a Princess . Personaly i would like a Prince Wizard his ability could be you would summon few wizards (1-2) at the higher lvl more (we really don't need to summon as many as King or Queen does) and those summoned wizard would help the prince to conjure a Big Fireball and you could do some serious Siege damage ,it could even have more damage against walls or defenses or just plane damage i think supercell has the tools to test these things.But 1 thing i'm sure that you can't have long range for that Big Fireball cause people will abuse it to farm dark elixir or something like that.
PS: i forgot to mention that you could Aim that Big Fireball yourself but i think you already got that :)

like many others would love to see a new hero, but I can't help but think minion would be just as less likely as counterparts.

1) would make BAM - much more potent attack strategy, cheap quick and easy to use - this may cause loss of revenue for supercell as people wanting to do things on the cheap could rotate another hero while the others sleep over their hangovers.

I think the third hero is a tricky one - not to make it too op but also to make it worth supercells while... $$$ wise

Just my thoughts - sorry they are a bit on the negative side.

Perhaps I am still mad at SC about the whole heros not being used whilst upgrading - it's all about the money $$$$

Lets have a DE troop-hero that upgrades with elixir and maxed out at 1 day upgrade time....oh one can dream.

Eh. I'm not really hoping for one either. But if they add one, the one thing I highly doubt it will be is a goblin king.

Nah, they most likely will just keep the loot-stealing stud in single-player. I think they should add a troop that people don't really like much, like a Valkyrie, and make a hero for it, like Valkyrie Leader. I think they should do something for Valkyries, because they are overlooked quite the lot...
