Monthly gem-lottery / become a gem millionaire

Again, I would like to suggest to implement something like a monthly gem-lottery.

Players can take part by betting a certain amount of gems. Every month there will be a winner of e.g. 1 million in gems, or any other reasonable amount concerning the total bets value.

Advantage for SC: Many Players invest Gems.
Disadvantage for SC: They lose 12 designated customers a year - worldwide!

Advantage for the players: Funny additional application and the chance to become Champion instantly.

Hey...what profit do they lose? 12 Players a year! Also you are talking about a profit they will eventually earn with these 12 players.

And what profit do they earn? Thousands of players are betting! Why are there so many lotteries in the world and why are there so many people spending money for this...although the chances to win are pretty small.

Lotteries are always worth while for the organizer (SC)!

This will force supercell to make content rating higher. Meaning less people will be able to play the game thus less gems sold which cause less profit. Less profit means 100% no as supercell is a bussiness and wants profit.

Isnogud, there, Saleh47 has said it all. SC earns profit through Gems. If they gave more ways to earn free Gems, then players will have to rely on it and SC won't be earning more money than ever. And what I mean about it is that, if less players purchase Gems, SC will lose profit, meaning lesser money earned, meaning SC games can shut down forever.

Seriously though, the highest amount of Gems earned for free is around 40K Gems. And that's earned from Clan Tournaments where the Clan with the highest points wins that tournament. Of course, the top 10 or 20 of the clan (if more than 20 are in that clan) will share the won reward.

This "Gem Lottery" is just way too unfair. I mean like, 1 MILLION GEMS?! Everyone who wins this much can easily max-out their bases, rush their upgrades so that there will be no more waiting, and many other stuff --- and with these things done easily, the actual mechanic of the game: Patience and strategy, is totally the way around it (I mean the bolded one, Patience, not the other one, strategy).

You do know that if anyone wins 1mio gems they would pretty much quit within days right? base would be maxed, trophypushed as much as they could and done. People need to learn that clash is a game where the actuall progress is the goal of the game, not achieving the goal itsself.

Going off on what the other players have said, there are many players under the age of 10 that play this game. Teaching younger children how to gamble is not desirable, at least to me :)

This system would be a bad idea. Children gambling and extreme advantages to anyone who wins. They would never have to work for anything in-game.
