New Co Leader Role- ENFORCER
Ok, we recently had some issues in our clan with a couple of rotten apples. A guy who is a good friend of ours and has played with us for a year or so brought a couple of clashers to join (very high lvl; 120+). These new guys didnt seem half bad (even brought their second accounts to the clan) and warred with us a few times with no issues whatsoever. They had nice donation ratios and were loyal to the cause, so they were promoted to Co Leader. Keep in mind we were a 50 person clan with a very solid core of people we trusted thru loyalty.
WAR STARTED THIS MORNING
Low and behold, this morning, while leaving my job to come home I got 3 back to back clan mails, all within a couple minutes of each other. I log on to find that these two guys have began kicking members and elders (even those in war) out of the clan. They were also changing the clan settings and adding offensive language to the description. Opened up the clan to ANYONE CAN JOIN and our clan became flooded with newbies instantly.
Now, me being a co leader I was safe from being kicked, but I was powerless against the two co leaders who could do what they wanted. It became a war of opening and closing the clan, kicking and having people rejoin instantly. I eventually had to contact the leader thru facebook, whom at the time was at his job. He came online and handled the culprits and the clan was smooth again.
BUT, I said all that to suggest this idea.
There should be a new ENFORCER position, whereas a co leader whom the LEADER trusts the most or whom the leader can deem as the most active member, can empower this co leader with the ability to act as the leader in his/her absence. Can kick or demote other co leaders, etc.
Kinda sad that I had to sit and watch these clowns destroy my clan during war day, while waiting a very long time for my leader to get online because he has a life.
