Needs to be fixed IMMEDIATELY!

This may not be the #1 most needed fix, but it's near the top of my list (figuratively speaking) as it continually bugs me... I want a solution to wrong/unwanted troops being donated to war bases. It isn't all the time, but every so often, someone thinks they are helping (or is just being a jerk) and puts ♥♥♥♥ troops in war bases, sometimes even decent troops that simply don't work well with the base they were put in.

First off, I have no idea why people do this. Filling war bases obviously has no gain (FIN or season donations) so I make it a Leader/Co-Leader responsibility. I have no idea why anyone else would WANT to waste their elixer and I have told people many times to save their resources and leave war bases to leadership unless asking first.

Secondly, as it stands there is little one can do about this. In our most recent occurrence, it was level 5 wizards being put where they did not belong. Obviously it is not feasible to kick every who has them as that would include all TH9s and a majority of our TH8s. Besides, I'd rather the person responsible learn their lesson than be kicked.

A solution would be a log of sorts indicating who donated what and when. This could be done quite elegantly by adding a little pop-up when a particular troop is clicked that would display the member(s) that donated the selected troop(s). This would allow for leadership to address the person(s) involved as well as add some small recognition to an otherwise thankless act.

If my first idea is too much, just the ability for leadership (or at least the leader) to remove troops from any base would be an immense help. Sometimes (even with clan mail being sent) people don't get on in time to remove the troops themselves or they just forget.

As it stands, the only way one can hope to avoid this is attempting to fill war bases as soon as prep starts so no one else has a chance to sabotage things. Having both these ideas together would be ideal, one allows you to address the problematic people, the other addresses the problem itself. You would never see goblins in war bases again!

These are my thoughts, what are yours?

Anyway, the reason why some people donate unwanted troops (most common troops are Goblins and Wall Breakers) is either they're just trolling, or they're mad at the person they donated to.

Y' know, decent troops, that you think doesn't fit in the base they were sent to, actually DO fit. Troops of any kind can fit into any base. If the enemy can 3-star that base, then it's not the troops' fault. It's the enemy's strategic skills.

I don't know about the "Donation Log", I'll wait for further comments. Good luck and Clash On!

This is childish and has no place in an adult clan in the first place, something my ideas would easily put an end to.

Wizards are decent troops, but ALL wizards hardly constitutes a decent defensive CC composition. Especially at higher levels, all someone has to do is see a previous attempt on the base in questions and then bring a loon to one-shot all the wizards. Better would be a good variety.

Balloons are also decent troops... if used in combination with the right troops. Putting a bunch in a TH7 or TH8 that is likely to be facing dragons is pointless.

As per mass-dragons being unstoppable, you have much to learn my friend... At TH7, I would agree, though there is still a chance at failure if the attacker is terrible, and something such as a max dragon in the CC can certainly slow down even a good attacker. Personally, I can 3 star ANY TH7 with Lvl1 drags, but that's just me.

Now TH8's, on the other had, I have seen thwart mass-drags on many occasions and CC troops can play a huge role in that. Again a max dragon can slow them down just enough at times to save a star or two, but I have actually seen remarkable success by an enemy we faced the had mass archers in their TH8's. It took our dragons so long to target each one that many attacks failed! (Consider what 20 archers sufficiently spread out can do to a CC dragon)

Did you not read my response clearly? Unless the defender is strong, they can defeat Dragons. :facepalm: "much to learn" --- I'm not a new guy with TH6 that doesn't know about those things. I've read the wiki, etc. Does that still count me as a new guy?!

EDIT: Sorry about that. I couldn't help it.. I mean, words that describe me as a new guy that doesn't know the things of TH7 and above annoys me a lot.

I'm a TH7 myself that uses Dragons for clan wars and I know about those things. If the defender is good, they can keep their base from getting 3-starred easily.

Didn't say you were a new guy, just that you have much to learn if you are under the impression that "Nothing can defend against All-Dragons, unless the base is well-strategically-arranged to defend vs. Dragons."

Or they could just remove the bad troops.......

That explains a lot:D I am a TH9 (in case my signature is hidden on your tablet) with extensive experience with dragons from my time maxing out TH8, I know essentially every strategy there is about dragon attacks and anti-dragon bases.

It would be helpful if everyone was on often enough to do so, but as stated: "Sometimes (even with clan mail being sent) people don't get on in time to remove the troops themselves or they just forget." This would allow leadership to instantly address the problem without having to wait on the person(s) in question. A particular problem if the donator hit a lot of bases.
