TH9 Anti-3 War Base --- Unconventional Design, Currently Being Tested

Golaloon Kill Squad
AQ acts as 5th AD, covering that corner that ADs don't. Can't throw straight loons because of AQ, and if they send a KS, it won't matter that they aren't covered by AD. Far away from AD/GB, but still makes them use a spell. Ground targeting defenses near AQ that will do damage to a KS but aren't useful against laloon. Stuff behind AQ helps prevent troops from reaching AD. Xbows at a safe distance but able to fire on the KS or laloon. King focuses the troops on him after they take AQ so defenses can keep firing, and CC troops are coming out around this time to further complicate things.

Laloon/Golaloon
Multiple AD cover each other to kill hounds faster. Middle right AD supports all other AD, and all pathing directs away from it. Top right defenses lead downwards away from the top AD, even if you start loons at both right side ATs, the only 2 available defenses. Lots of defenses to go through to get to an AD. Pathing is best for me if they start from the top, so AS is facing downwards. If they come from bottom, AS will keep the Wiz firing on them. 3 Wiz do not target hounds, and the fourth can target the support AD, where hounds will be gone quickly because the loons won't path onto it, and all AD can target that one. On a surgical laloon, top and bottom AD both send hounds to the support AD that can safely spend time killing them rather than the left AD while loons leave the hounds behind. Mostly air targeting defenses outside the AQ section, so I don't lose air dps to their KS.


Hogs
4 single GB, spaced so they can't be covered by one heal, and mostly in non optimal heal spots (the one between tesla and AD is being moved around, haven't decided yet!). Springs are all outside the AQ section, so they get used on hogs not golems (duh). Good luck taking out doubles with surgical when there aren't any to begin with. Probably already used a jump for the KS too, so you've got 3 heals against 4 GB, and all those springs to work through.

The compartments in upper right with GB+Tesla+AD, Cannon+AT, Wiz+AT, are being changed around. Working on it.

Looks good, but the CC is lureable I think, and from what I know as a th8, there aren't any bombs to cover surgical hogs?

Not lureable, where does it look like it? It would take minimum of 20 space I'm guessing to get at least some of the lure. And what do you mean about no bombs for surgical hogs?

Luering from TH as there aren't any walls to block- you could use 2 giants. Surgical hogs is where you place a few hogs on each defense and all you giant bombs are pretty deep.

Those cannons are in front of the lure radius, even loons won't lure from them. I know what surgical hogs is, but I don't want the GB too easy to set off. If they were out towards the edge, it would be much easier to get rid of a couple during the lure on a cleanup attack.

Final version, now I can begin testing. A friend in CH said he could test it in a big war for me, so I won't have to wait through a bunch of drag, barch, gowipe attacks lol.

That north GB has a spring trap right next to it. Generally I'm not a big fan of that. I'd almost move the spring trap between the NW Wizard tower and interior archer tower.

There isn't a spring between wiz and AT. There's an air bomb there, do you mean the spring between AD and AT in the same area?

Why don't you like springs next to GB? I'm expecting there will likely be a heal over that GB anyways, so it won't be taking out hogs. Spring won't be wasted then. Looks like a good spring spot too, I'd rather not move it unless it needs to.

Although I am a big fan of bases with 'offset' AQs, I'm not sure if yours will work great as I see some vulnerabilities in the base.

First thing I noticed is that you are running four single bombs which makes it anti surgical hog, but I don't think they are placed correctly. The reason for that is that I was planning on placing my healspell there anyway and the idea behind single bombs isv that you are forcing a heal spell early.

While we are on the topic of gbs, I do think you should at least have 2 possibilities for dgbs within the base so people waste a lot of troops on the first attempt and most likely fail.

I also think you are vulnerable against a shattered LaLoon from 6 o clock. I can get a lot of value out of my KS with decent heroes. Over time people started to realize that you don't need 2 ADs for a shattered LaLoon.

I also think you are vulnerable to surgical hogs as you have almost all your point defense on the outer ring of defenses. I'd strongly suggest using your teslas anti surgical (check reddit forums if you don't know what I mean) and also using your spring traps in the second layers rather then between the defenses.

I'd also move the 6 o clock double black mine towards 9 o clock AD as a KS probably won't come from there.

One last thing, we also run several of these bases within our clan and we noticed that GoLo is rather easy on them, especially as you have very little air towers and bombs towards 3 o clock.

Sorry if I came across a little harsh, just trying to help. Its not a bad base at all, I think it could be a great base.
