small bombs and wallbreakers question, and what's your best use of small bombs?
Hi, thanks for any answers. Lv6 small bomb deals 42 damage, the same health as lv5 wallbreaker.
I read that there is a 1.5 second delay from trigger to explosion.
If bomb placed 1 tile away from outer wall, and wb is dropped on the bomb the drop zone in this case is 1 tile out from wall): is it possible for the bomb to kill the wb before it breaks the wall?
I know wb are fast, but unsure of delay. Im guessing its not possible. I was hoping to slow down gowiwi raids, if wb fail on outer wall i find a much higher chance of a defence. It may still be useful if someone sends a wave of wb, getting the 2nd group i guess.
Assuming small bombs wont kill first wave of wb, where do you use them most? Im considering th9 and 10 around champs league here.
Personally if it turns out they are a bit of a waste v wb then i probably put them in 2nd layer, where golems wont path, to try catch wiz and witches. Or possibly outside, for same purpose.
Ive seen some people use them as another GB.
Cheers
The real point of little bombs
So usually people counter hogs with the dreaded DGB, but consider the following (stats for a TH9):
Lvl 5 hog HP: 475
LVL 3 GB dmg: 225 X 1.5 (to hogs) = 337.5
LVL 6 LB dmg: 42
LVL 7 Mortar dmg (per hit): 55 http://clashofclans.wikia.com/wiki/Mortar
Total Dmg from 1 GB + 1 Mortar hit + 2 LB = 476.5
So if you have 1 GB and 2 LB next to each other, and a blob of hogs lands on them as a mortar shell hits them, it will one shot them the same way a DGB will. So at TH9 you can actually have 3 spots that are insta-kills on hog groups (if your mortars are centrally located) instead of just 2. The same idea is even better at TH10 because the GB get another upgrade to end up doing 250 x 1.5 = 375 dmg to a hog.
Hope this helps!
