What to upgrade first?

Im making the transition to th7 in 6 days and wondering what to upgrade first? I'm planning on doing the lab splash defenses and camps/raxxes before anything else. But with the addition of darke elixir I was wondering is there a better path or should i just stick with the standard upgrades?

Well, first you need:

camps
Barracks to max
lab
spells
de storage
de drill
bk

then worry about defenses that take more than a day to complete. If you want to add archer tower from 1-4 go ahead. But get that offense up asap

get dragon first, and dont get dark stuff till you get defences sorted, cos its not goina do you any good right away, get ur new army camp and enjoy the power you have as a newly promoted th7 with dragons.

Likes others said, focus on powering up your offense because no matter what you do with your defense, your still going to remain cannon fodder until the defense is max out which takes a long time. With offense, you can see progression in your raids quicker.

Plus one for this...Prioritize offense..

I've noticed, in war, the more upgraded your defenses are the higher number you go even if your troops and spells (except the Barbarian King) are not even maxed or haven't even upgraded them yet. It will be pretty hard for you if you're in a high number at war, matched against tougher bases, but your troops and spells didn't caught up with your defense.

So, it will be easier not just in war but also in farming if you prioritize offenses
