You partially got me on this one. Healers were completely useless though. They did this to increase the power of something so that it was relevant again. Not reduce it.

There's 3 elements in the game that were changed to reduce/increase effectiveness in game. They already increased the HP of DE storage specifically as a way to mitigate zapping, this balancing an existing dynamic.

this is just my counterargument to what you said.
i don't think you can call it bad game design for skirmish style game.
As you play the game, tweaks must be made to one troop/spell because the game evolves.
Tweeks in the game are one thing, but adding an entire new structure or dynamic specifically to target one game element that is not a problem . . . that is bad game design.

However though! regarding lightning, i see no immediate need whatsoever to change it to enhance the game. It was merely an idea, and honestly, I would not mind if a mod deleted this thread

stop this posting about zapping, its every damn day and its pathetic, it shows just how bad you are as a player if zapping is a problem for you, you obviously never raid if losing 800 dark is a massive loss to you, i lose 3k on average when i lose a raid, and that doesn't even register as i can usually make it back pretty quick.

But unfortunately I've complained about normal raids as well, since that's another issue right there. :rolleyes: (not so much being raided, but the bad gameplay experience with it).

This idea needs to be ruled out. This is getting ridiculous and it's simply an attack strategy to get loot. This only annoys people and it's filling up the forums. Just zap others it's fun and you get loot. I've only done it twice.

funny thing is, if it was just one thread and everyone who wanted it commented on that instead of starting a new thread and then getting all the rest of us who don't care, supercell might take it seriously

Anti-zappers always claim the above statement to make themselves feel better. Zapping isn't a proof if a player is good attacker or not. Get over it and man up a little okay?

Yes they can make it BUT Lightning isn't overpowered like Hogs (before the big bomb update). Just because someone don't want to get looted SC will update that spell?

It is like the same as everyone wants with the de zapping, get over it, because it is rediculous. Losing resources is part of the game, the only thing you have to do when you are zapped, is get revenge or just attack and steal the double of what you lost. If you lose dark elixir it will be around 600 probably, if you find a full storage you can get 3000, that is 5 times as much, so don't worry, there is an option to get it back.

Well what do you know? After a few weeks of being in TH7, I finally got zapped! There, happy now?

Oh, no no no!! I'm not those that will complain about it! Why?

I didn't care about it. Actually, I WAS waiting to get zapped by a random guy but had never experienced one ... until a person that I just TH-Sniped goes in for revenge just to TH-Snipe me as well. Well, it wasn't just a simple TH-Snipe that he did, he also deployed a few of his Archers on a few un-defended resource buildings to get extra loot rather than 1K Gold/Elixir. After a few seconds, there goes the zapping part: He drops his single Lightning Spell on my DE Storage and only steals about 206 DE --- of course, he only had one LS. XD

By the time I see him zapping my Storage, I never felt a shred of anger. Instead, I laughed excitingly as that was the very first time I got zapped. Nah, even though I get zapped lots of times, I won't care about a single thing. My Barb King's level 2. Besides, my DE Drill and War Loot are the only ways that I could get DE easily.

Over the past few raids I've encountered, majority of them was a simple TH-Sniper even though some have Lightning Spells on their composition but they continued on with the snipe instead of zapping my DE. :saywhat:

OH!! :eek: DE Drills! War Loot Bonuses! Excellent! Those are the best ways to earn Dark Elixir faster! :D

...just get over it...

B-b-but I enjoy it when people zap me...


Though OP, zapping is a part of the game, deal or quit.
