Always bring Wall breakers. Spells are your friend. jump spells to funnel into the core, lightnings to double zap mortars, rage or heals to help your barch hit harder and longer. create a funnel by destroying buildings to the sides of where you want to funnel in.
My comp is 60 barbs/8wallbreakers/144 archers. That equates to 15barbs/2wallbreakers/36archers per rax. Assuming th9. Make it 31 archers if you are th8.
Thats about all I can say other than always bring cc troops, its like having an extra army camp (sort of) !
Hope that helped.
It is almost impossible to barch/bam strong TH8+, sorry.
^ Without heroes you would be correct. But with heroes, cc troops and at least one spell it is entirely possible to take at least 4-5 storages of a th8. Like DE and 2 of each or etc.
Thanks guys that'll help me a lot
Barch is so far my most used farming army as TH7. I have tried core diving with it but had little success, only a few bases but mostly fails when trying. Really requires picking the right kind of base to core dive using barch.
I train all barbs on one barracks and all archers on the other barracks. So that makes roughly 1/3 barbs then 2/3 archers
If I were to plan a core dive using barch here's what I would do:
1. Lure and kill CC Troops
2. Lightning the Mortar near the core.
3. Send the initial wave to clear out buildings outside.
4. send another wave to bust into the walls. Send in BK as well to help tank damage especially from wiz towers.
5. send the remaining wave once you've bust open a path into the core
Note that the major threat to core diving with barch are those splash towers. Another is to find the right deployment. Sometimes my troops wont go where I want them to go...
