Just wondering what the best (in your opinion) war attack is. Currently use mass hogs with level 4 hogs, but it doesn't cut it all the time. I have levels as follows:
Barb 5
Arch 5
Gob 4
Giant 4
WB 4
Loon 4
Wiz 5
Healer 2
Drag 2
Pekka 1
Minion 2
Hog 4
And the rest dark troops level 1. All my spells are maxed for th8. So what would the most successful war attack probably be for me?
of course it depends on the base you are attacking. Im at a similar level and I find myself using gowipe the most.

try and get dragons to 3. You are fine with hogs so maybe work of hog attacks for now?

With level 4 hogs you should be getting 3 stars on any TH8 and even some weak-mid TH9 provided you lure the CC and avoid dgbs. Revise your strategy and/or army composition and keep using hogs, I hear surgical hogs works very nicely at TH8.
It all depends on the base IMO. Some are just setup as hog bases(compact no DGBs) others are spread out. For those i use a HOLOWI attack. use some loons on the outside then send the hogs to the core then backside loons with wizards for clean up.
Other times i use a GoWiPe. I just dont like Pekka cause they dont like going where i want them to even when i funnel.
I am also fond of the GoHoWi attack as well. But need to up your Golem to lvl 2 for that.
You can try dragloon, which is all dragons (or 9 dragons + 4 balloons) and a clan castle full of maxed balloons. Bring 3 lightning spells, zap one air defense, launch your drags at the second so they will destroy it. When the dragons get in range of the last air defense, launch your balloons at the air defense. The balloons will destroy the air defense, and it will be a 3-star. If the base has cored air defenses, bring 2 rage and 1 heal spell. You would first launch your dragons to destroy any defense buildings that would lure away the balloons from the core (basically creating a funnel), then launch your balloons after the dragons get in range of the air defense, then use the 1 rage spell to get the balloons to accelerate into the core, use another rage and a heal spell to get the balloons to destroy the rest of the air defenses in the core. Your dragon will clean up the rest of the remaining buildings. Hope this helps:thumbsup:
P.S. Try to get your dragon to lvl 3 as fast as you can if you want the full power of this strategy.
