We make clanwar twice a week and we won quite often. But since we are a lvl 3 clan ( now we are lvl 4 ) we had only won 2 (!!) clan wars because you get apparently better clans if you are on higher clan level. Please change this!! We lost so many wars and don't get easier enemys!
Please comment.
I dont believe the war match up takes either clans level into consideration. I have not heard it does anyway.
Personally I think what is happening is since the new clan perks feature more clans are warring and warring more often. And those clans are getting better at it the more they do. Your competition is getting tougher sinply because they are warring more and learning. But it does not sound like your clan has progressed in its war strategies and hence is loosing more.
I suggest you step back and look at your strategy. Whats working whats not. What are your enemies doing that seems to be working better for them?
Take a two week break from wars and send your leader and a co leader out to explore successful war clans. What are they using for strategies. Then have them come back and use those in your wars.
You can find a lot (really a lot) on youtube about war attacks. Watching a few videos a day won't harm you.
Time to find a new clan.

I don't quite understand where you are coming from here - but to answer your initial post I think the problem is matchmaking has been refined to find closer matches TH level to TH level including troop levels and trap levels and therefore potentially closer matches in terms of clan competence and attack and defence strategy.Quote:

Have your clan watch some Attack strategy videos on YouTube. OneHive Raids is a pretty good channel for TH8 and 9 attack strategys (especially hogs and GoWiPe).
That's why the 'Opt-in' / 'Opt-out' possibility is added... Als the one who starts the war can chose the participants...Quote:

At TH7, getting 3 stars on most bases TH7 or lower (and some weak or noob built TH8 bases) is almost a certainty with dragons and lightening spells (which may have changed with the Air Sweeper, but not sure yet). It just depends on who can grind the most funds to get thier dragon army and be active. That all changes at TH8, where suddenly you are paired with bases that, 'surprise', aren't easy (near tactless) wins.
Then you have to organize attacks, and it was really hard to get a group of teenagers to realize that "hey, attack same base # as you first, and then figure out what needs extra work", until the base numbers in the names were added to the War Events log. Then I was able to say, " See, I told you... Plain as day on the log" when we got our but kicked because some of our people acted like newbies.
If someone is actually managing the clan's war roster, and getting people to attack properly, and most members aren't complacent from TH7 mass dragon armies, and still have issues, then there is possibly something wrong with the system. If not, then... get to it and have it get managed properly!
Really? You're complaining because you can't win a war? That's YOUR own clan's fault. You can't just go whine to SC just because your clan is terrible at attacking.
That stinks.
I don't really see any idea or feature request only that someon is complaining about not winning wars.
Before opt out, clans wars were often non-competitive events against an unorganised bunch of kids. You only had to have a decent turn out to win.
After opt-out, opposition turn out became good. It was no longer merely good enough to attack nearly every base, you had to attack well, three-starring most bases.
Then clan XP came along. Suddenly, there was real incentive to be art of a clan with a decent war history. You could tell by looking at clan level. Good players coalesced into good clans, undisciplined kids' clans left on the street. These undisciplined kids' clans are still there, but they contain no quality players. If you are any good, you'll never be matched against them.
So, in short, if you and your clan are any good, clan wars have become much harder, because good players have collected into good clans much more than this time last year.

you can have low level town hall players but make sure they are not rushed, i find that max th6 players can easily three star another max th6 so cram you clan full of them and give them max balloons or something,
th7 and above is kinda a lottery depending on how the base is set up, that extra air defence kinda kills off loon attacks for a while, but th7 have dragons so they should probably be doing that instead th9 and 10 is entirely dependant on skill so if you have a lot of them then they might be tripping you up with the aiming down and shiz cos they are scared of attacking their level
