The matchmaking system is still broken. My trophy pushing TH5 account in gold 2 just got hit by TH8 faceroll all-archers thrice for 38 cups each. This is bull!
I propose to revert matchmaking back to the way it was, but with this addition: The trophy penalty.
3+ TH levels above: 50% extra trophies
2 TH levels above: 25% extra trophies
1 TH level above: 10% extra trophies
Same TH or 1 below: Nothing
2 TH levels below: 75% trophies
3 TH levels below: 50% trophies
4+ TH levels below: 0 cup offer
Going back to the old matchmaking would just make it even more likely a th8 will destroy you. It should be able to anyway its three levels higher, we have a loot penalty in place to make it not profitable but as far as trophies go of course its fair that a higher townhall can destroy a lower one. Personally i think that the new matchmaking system is the best update in recent memory because we dont have to next through lower townhalls to find good raids.
Let me get this straight. You are pushing trophies to try and get as high up the cups as possible but you also want no way of players that you deem are too strong to find your base and raid it, correct?Quote:

The matchmaking system is perfect but gold 2 is not the place for a th 5..so kindly stop crying and go to your place in silver 2
