Best way to farm DE?

Okay so first of all I want to farm DE... A lot! I'm Townhall 8 and I don't have too many good troops... Here are all the troops I have, Don't say barch or BAM.. I usually go against th9s and th8s maxed. Sometimes th10s. I mass drag just to get to the dark elixir in the middle but I lose a lot of elxir doing it.

I find GiBarch an efficient way of gaining mass dark elixir. It doesn't cost lots or take to long to train. Use giants as tanks and use barbs and archers to take out defenses.

Or you can use giant healer, its the same as GiBarch just take a healer or two, keeps your giants alive longer.
