Usually u keep us informed about changes in the game..,
Im not him but I assume they are working really hard on their next game that needs to be submitted to Apple by the 20th this month before Apple closes for christmas.
I've been wondering the same thing. This is by far the most silence and longest space between updates since I started playing in September. I'm sure though that it's only because there is something super coming out and they are just saving the great news :-D (I'm being honest here lol)
They knew they were losing money (gem purchases) with people farming and needed to increase the incentive to raise your trophies and fill your gold tanks with gem purchases. I'm pretty sure their numbers (sales) can show clear correlation between release of threads like Pedro's infamous "how to farm" post and a decrease in gem sales. I spend roughly 60,000 now before I find a decent village to farm. So, they now have a nice little gold sink as well if people insist on continuing to farm. I'm at the point now where it costs 2mil+ to upgrade anything so yeah...I'll probably just gem these purchases since farming really sucks now.
The recent changes also indicate something to me-that they are working on a big update for Spring.
Also, I'm certain that they are getting ready to release a new game to add to Supercell's lineup. They've learned from their mistakes and are ditching the facebook-only market and sticking with iOS. Sorry Android fanboys, you'll have to find another game to play.
There are enough "internet cops" here that all he really needs to do is check his inbox for tattletales and close threads as needed. Then go back to drinking his coffee and working on the update and other things for Supercell.
This was a server side freshen up, blow the cobwebs out from Halloween etc.
And some not for public consumption tech updates.
Oh and a side note we are always working on new content.
Warm regards, sneaky.
High probabilty of loot change and matching. These staff suck at customer relations.
First of all I'd like to thank you for the entertainment, they already have a third game out so do your homework.
They cleaned out the farming but since they're farmers they'll never buy a significant amount of gems so if that was their goal it left a big empty hole.
Spring update? If the game doesn't get rebalanced soon the rest of he high enders that didn't quit won't be here anymore.
Regards
Most people like myself buy gems every now and then to speed upgrades..,,atleast the ones i speak to
and raid for gold and elix ...
Thats the fun part of the game to find
that good loot base...,
I would never buy gold for gems...
Whats the reason to attack then ?
Trophys ? no most people lost interest in trophys long time ago..
What keeps me here is the mates in the clan and fun raids with a nice loot
AND i buy gems each month to speed
my upgrades...but if i now have to buy gold and buy speedup,,,whats left?..
The chat? well theres plenty of chat apps out there
Just my 2 cents
Well, Supercell might hide thier embarassment of dumb changes. (no offense)
1. Not officially on the appstore. Do your homework honeyboo-boo.
2. Nah, the farmers will naturally migrate to where they need to be to stay entertained. They always do.
3. Yeah okay, Come Spring (i.e. Feb-March) you and all your clannies will still be here because you know CoC is the best game out there for iOS right now. You've tried other games. If they were any better then you wouldn't always coming back here to CDs.
You are just going through the natural evolution that all gamers who play CoC do. Why? What's next? While you are contemplating your future there are thousands of others who just installed CoC and are working their way up the ranks. With a constant stream of players, you, me, and all the "high-ends" that visit this forum can leave the game and it will continue to thrive because it has a nut-hold on the market share right now with no signs of giving way to any other app. Some lame slot machine apps and that horrid Simpsons game (yes I played it) are all that is anywhere near SC right now.
Slot machine games suck, especially when there are a very few slots. more . I like the casino games with varity to choose from
I'm not saying that all slot machine games suck, but really hate the ones that require to "level up" to get the good ones, especially when there isin't a lot to choose from.....
Uh wait, this kind of sounds like clash of clans no? Also, the very fact that a POS like the Simpsons overtook this game is prima facie evidence that the ship already hit the iceberg and people are Costanza'ing through women and children to get out first. So many flaws in so many of the things you say... Example literally just from this thread: One post it's acknowledging the Simpsons overtook COC, the next it's that SC has a"nut-hold on the market share right now with no signs of giving way to any other app." HUH? Do you understand what diametrically opposed means?
Honestly I didn't want really think about it until now, but I am joining the ranks of ppl who think you're some 3rd party schlub whose job it is to drum up interest in game by any means. Have you ever given your actual name on CoC or what clan you're in? Just curious. Wouldn't shock me at all.
Answer to the thread's question >>
Stay ontopic guys! Besides, I think this thread can be closed.Quote:

No, I am not at liberty to disclose my clan name or my gamecenter name. I am not on SC's payroll. Nor are you. Does that make YOU some "schlub"? See how easy it is to draw correlations when you lack basic reasoning?
you do realise 'Hondaboy', this is a community forum?
you do realise you're not supposed to attack the community?
you also do realise you are one of the most argumentative people on here and you have nothing constructive to say to anyone?
you do realise also, that this makes you a douchbag?
why dont you save your pretty fingers for a forum of a game you actually play???
good boy.
K:rolleyes:
It's wrong because you've been saying it for a long time and while some people may have left (and others have come in) there hasn't been thus far a mass exodus of everyone.
It's no different from the people who prophecise the end of the world. If they do it long enough, sure they will one day be right, but that doesn't make their statements any more true.
Truth is no matter what Supercell does, I find it hard to believe the same people will continue to spend hundreds of dollars every week to maintain their spots. Eventually they will get bored and move on to something else.
They aren't telling us about the resource changes is cause they think no one will notice.
yes maybe but supercell work in groups to make games like they would have about 12 people who work on clash of clans and not any other games that's why clash of clans and hay day have differant mods because they are differant groups of people like you for instance sneakymaori you work on/moderate clash of clans(forgive me if I'm wrong) and you don't really have anything to do with hay day or any other games that supercell may be working on so that means that clash of clans shouldn't be affected by any new games that supercell will be releasing or if it fails like many other ideas supercell have came up with have clash of clans will not be affected therefore it shouldn't leave any supercell staff in clash of clans to be in active and or absent from the game or fourms unless rauta is in charge of all the content in supercell or is like a customer support guy for all their games either way he should still be here with us right?
I agree, nothing much on topic in the last few pages.
Folks - Supercell has said from the beginning they don't make announcements of most of the "Behind the scenes" changes - obviously they'll tell you when new buildings, features, troops - things of that nature that you can actually see, but the game mechanics, mathematical equations, that kind of stuff can be modified at any time, and are not always made public. It isn't a conspiracy, it's the business model. Some changes you can see and wonder about, but I'm willing to bet dozens of tech-type stuff gets modified that nobody ever notices.
