GREYJOY Trophy Week - Opponents wanted

Hey Clashers,

Monday 8th-15th July (with the reset of the of the Season) The Greyjoy Clans are going to venture on a week long little Trophy Excursion...

As we are farmers we ask that no gems be used in the production of troops and that you don't bring in any outside "high trophy player" to boost your count.. This is about Hard work and team work.

We would welcome a bit of friendly competition.. Maybe you are thinking of doing a Trophy week, or maybe you do them often and would like to give your clan an extra incentive.. Whatever the your reasons..

I see "Your Nightmare" has Trophy weeks, maybe a potential candidate.. But all are welcome... would be great to compile a League Table of about 10-15 Clans...

Well, our clan is having a two week trophy from the 16th-30th July. Maybe you could change you date or we could to fit in somehow?

Unfortunately our trophy week has taken a lot of planning, with 3 clans involved finding a suitable time so the majority can participate has been a nightmare, so i dont think we can move it...

maybe tho we can arrange another in a month or two, not sure how often you guys push for trophies.

Yeah I understand that, shame our two dates never matched! Good luck in your inter-clans trophy hunt, sounds like great fun!

Maybe another time then, we will probabky hunt again in two months time, our clans much perfer farming..they hate anything different! ;) haha

Just a couple noobish questions:

1) The competition is just for 1 week, or the full 2-week league season?
2) Is it based on net gain of trophies, or the final trophy totals that determine the winner?

We are mostly TH6-8 so we might not stand much of a chance to win. For us, not finishing last would be a decent achievement.

It's for 1 week, 8th-15th of July, and it's just a friendly competition on which clan can get the highest combined trophies.

Its not about finishing last, or finishing first, its about bringing together a group of like minded people and challenging ourselves...

If we can make this work (and i dont see why it can't) them theres the opportunity to make it a regular (not too regular) event.. And we will have captured everyones rank and points from this one.. Then that will be used as your target for the subsequent pushes.

Trophy weeks can be a great deal of fun as long as you don't take the loss of 30 trophies too seriously..

Greyjoy has 3 clans all of different levels so it does not matter that you may not be able to compete with the big boys (yet)there is going to be at least one clan you will be able to compete against.. So sign up and lets have a laugh and steal some trophies... Then a week later we can throw them all away..Thats the best bit actually.

The main list has been updated we now have 8 Confirmed and 2 possible more additions.

BUT WE WANT MORE!!!

Sign up now to part of something that could well be part of CoC folklore.. You will be able to say "we were there"

Whatever the Level of your clan it does not matter.. Come join in the fun.

Its a difficult one Dave, there is no way i can force people not to boost, but this needs to be a level playing field otherwise we will end up with clans calling "foul"... And as you know better than most where that could end up..

All i can say is that Greyjoy, VegasKnights and i believe Exploitation are in agreement to this.. I have PM'd all the members so far asking for there opinions/agreement

EDIT: But i cant keep pm'ing as its now taken off to the point where im spending all my time here on the forum as opposed to playing:(

Bill has made it quite clear that 0 gems are to be used during the push. Exploitation has agreed to this as well as Vegas Knights and of course Greyjoy. It is of paramount importance that all the other clans competing agree to this otherwise we have no competition. Please answer Bills PM fellow leaders.


The only trophy clan that is signed up is Terra Firma and in my opinion they are spoiling the party. They should not be competing as their top ten look like gemmers and the leader Huddy has a L32 AQ. This was suppose to be a competition for farming clans only and should stay that way.


Inthedark however presents a real challenge to Ex and the only way we could possibly compete would be on a zero gem basis.

Im afraid i have to agree with points 1&2... I have (and maybe should have reviewed the clans before acceptance) just checked Terra Firma.. And if people concur with Sensi i think they do not really qualify.. Unless of course they want to drop some significant amount of trophies...before the start.


As for point 3 im sure Sensi was not implying that this is a two horse race... But i will definitely be using that quote to motivate my clan:p

We would love to join! :D Sadly we are all geared up for a one week hunt starting the 25th, and I know I can't convince these farming addicts to hunt again that soon. :( count us in for the next one!! We can adjust our hunting dates, if you let us know when the next one is! :)

P.s. As you might guess from my signature... You will not be able to find my clan in search (as of the most recent update,) but we are a mostly farm/occasional hunt clan, few to zero-gem members, so no-gem sounds very easy for us (and also more fair!) mostly mid-late model th9, some late-model th8s, and a few th10s currently kicking themselves for upgrading too soon. Ha! So, if you'd like to check out my invisible clan, pm me and I'll give you my gc username! :)

Long time lurker, first time poster. havnt had a good enough reason to post, til now. We here at the Fight Club would also like to join this competition. Due to the amount of fight clubs, I will post the specifics, We are "fight club" red/white shield, 16271 trophies ATM, 40 current members.

Thanks for joining in! We are not allowing gemmers though, because its unfair. (gemming barracks for example) We start on 8th-15th July, and Rey here is going to be recording all the scores of the clans each day.

Looking forward to taking part in this! I am in agreement about the gems as I do not have the luxury of having money to spend on the game as many students I am sure can relate to! Good luck to all and take it easy!

That's not the reason...If a clan gives their word that they will not gem i say they are in..It will be their reputation that is damaged not ours... But this is intended to be a Farmers competition as Supercell does not provide anything in that area for us to compete.

If Terra want in get all of their members to drop down to below 2200... To show us they are farmers and dont care about their current trophy count. Then we can re-open the discussion..until the decision remains made..

That would potentially create another issue... For example i have a player who will be in Kenya for 3 weeks.. So cannot participate.. Well he could but i think his marriage would suffer.. As a result he is gaining trophies now so that he can be of some assistance to the clan push.

First, thank you guys for the opportunity to request to join. It was never my intention for Terra Firma to join and be an automatic winner. Yes we farm at a high level and not every member farms during “farming season”. BUT, I can tell you that we are in farming mode which means we don’t restrict ANY member from farming. We do, however, request that they farm above 1,500 cups.

With that said, yes we have people that gem. So I say to you…will you now limit how many gems people have bought prior to this competition or exclude all clans that have a member that has ever bought gems? I hope not because I would think that every clan would then be excluded.

I totally understand though because when we do hunt we usually get to around 40-ish…I want this competition to be fun for all so I accept your rejection of our application…

I would ask that you still track us during the hunt as an exhibition team because we truly are in farm mode and we will hunt that week.

I do have a champion member who is a recent pure gemmer and others that are frequent gemmers. The have as of late been frustrated with the game and are running strictly on defense. If this exempts us from the run then i understand. 90% off us are hardcore farmers and excited for the trophy run challenge.
Our goal is top 75. See you up there.

Then I left to help rising with the push. I went on this morning to learn Mitch has left. Am I missing something? Also, the elders and leader want me to stay through the push. If necessary, I will. What are your thoughts?

Hey Kishk, as you will have seen theres been some debates around gems and as this means a lot to a lot of people we think that the level playing field is necessary..

So if your saying you will be using gems then im afraid yes, it does rule you guys out, but hey all the best and as you say hopefully you will see us right there with you..

Just wanted to give you an update about the CotFC part on our website. Thanks to Spanish, we added a logo for almost every clan that is participating (all will be there soon guys!). We used the colours of your in-game badge. It's nothing fancy but it has the looks of the logo of YN and therefore, it shows some similarity.
