Multiplayer: An idea

Im not sure if this is an original idea, but I have always wanted to compete against friends of mine in Multiplayer. Obviously, the odds of me ever getting to attack my friends' bases/clans are slim, but what if there was a new multiplayer option added? Players could select someone from their friends list and attack their base, and vice versa. Furthermore, the available loot of these "matches" would be similar to that of bases during clan wars; negligible and without risk to the defending player. This new multiplayer option could create a new area of competition in the game, focusing on the strength of one's own base instead of their clan as a whole.

Let me know if this idea is worth expanding on, or if it conflicts with a pre-existing aspect of CoC.

Too easy to exploit, you could just have your friend make a base that an enemy in your cw has and practice on it all day

But you won't know the trap and tesla positions aswell as the CC troops, so the outcomes will be different.
I still support this idea. :)

I agree, too exploitable. Yea we may not know where traps/tesla/cc are but most people use bases where locations are easy to point out. Agreed on cc troops.
I really would like this idea to come out because my friends always bag on each other saying they'll 3 star the others base. Would be hilarious to watch and do as well.
But they'll be some heavy limitations if they ever decide to implement this. Like maybe one attack a day? But people can exploit the war by having multiple accounts to attack, etc etc. Lot of factors to consider. If its banned during war you can just quit clan/rejoin, yada yada.
Maybe as a small event? Down for that

1) Has been suggested a zillion times before.

2) Its too exploitable

3) Its still an amazing idea

You pretty much know all of this stuff after the first attack and before the second attack.

It's a terrible idea.

Terrible idea, much to exploitable.


But but actually it's not that hard to 'meet' friends in multiplayer...just drop to sub both of you and search for each other... You will find each other guaranteed and then you can attackyour friend the legit way :thumbsup:

From what i am reading there are several arguments, so here are my solutions:

1. Easily exploitable as cw bases can be practiced on
solution: limit the amount of times someone could edit their "practice base" to, say, once a week. At the end of the week they could remake it based on its performance.

2. Cc troops
i want this multiplayer to be solely about base strength, so cc troops would be unable to come out during a raid. Take them out of the equation, and see if your base can stand without 5 wizards backing you up ��

Also, I agree that attacks made from your friends list should be limited, in fact going back to my first point perhaps only once a week. You could attack a friend once, then wait until the next week for them to reorganize their base and keep the challenge going.

In war, I don't care what my base does without CC troops. I design my base knowing exactly what's going to be in the CC with the CC being the most important part of the base design. You can't take that out an expect a worthwhile mode.

Maybe you can only do this once a week? And only one person each week? And you get no loot.
