Help us please! Someone stole our clan!

Our leaders account was stolen from him some ours a couple of days ago. The Thief got in to the clan whit some other account and the Thief made his own account leader.
Now he want money to leave the clan.
We have one of Norways oldest and best clan, whit 5 or 6 feeder clans. What can we do? guess all clan have written to SC but we dont get help!
Best help there is is to come to the clan and talk to the people and see what goes on!

I don't think there's anything you can do about it. Your only hope might be contacting supercell and hope they can or will help you. You probably maybe tried this but you could ask him nicely to leave or give someone else leader, I know this option is bad but it's worth a try to get your clan back ain't it?

Report him in game with the pics and hope for the best.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I reported a guy with the name supercell admin with screenshots of him passing himself off as a employee of supercell in global. They responded with the usual canned answer in less than 12 hours and promptly did nothing about the person. That was 2 weeks ago

We have contacted Supercell a lot of times... All of clan have done that. I have contacted them at least 5-6 mails last two days and told them Whats going on.
Our leader have been in a long conversation whith them telling his account was stolen, and that he now was back on controling it.
only thing SC have done now is to block our old leaders acount! That acount that he now have secured whit new passwords... So Supercell is doing something but not what we hope.... The thiefs is still there and an legal acount that have 4500cups is blocked whith no shield.... He is pretty mad.

Supercell can't do anything until it is 100% proven that everything you said was true... And that takes a lot of proof...

Yeah they do need to prove your telling truth. I believe your not lieing but they can't take action with stuff like this immediately cause it might not be true. I figure it might take at the very minimum a day or two. A YouTuber got his account stolen and the person changed his name. It took a few days for him to get his account back and for SC to let him change his name back. Kind of similar. Just a bit of timeframe guess as to how long it could take.

I would think all the screenshots of the chat would suffice. If not, why can't SuperCell come in to the clan, and every single member will tell them what's right, except the fool who bought the clan.

I guess people with money to spare and nothing better to do with themselves. I'm not sure supercell would send a employee into the clan. By reading what the buyer said in his pics maybe he was tricked or mislead by the guy who sold your clan to him. Or it could be the guy who supposedly sold your clans second account and be lieing about selling it. Like who would pay money for a clan

See, it's kinda hard to justify the Norwegian claim about everyone being Norwegian except that one guy. Alot of clans can just pick a random location but have people from around the worldwide be in that clan without necessarily being from that country.

Definitely not, it's clearly all Norwegian, but people could easily lie about where they're from.

Hypothetically speaking, some player could join your clan, and if you ask if they're Norwegian, they could easily lie and say they are while they're actually from some other country.

Good luck in getting back your clan. That said, my guess is that all the old members will be kicked and be replaced by friends of the new "leader" as a level 5 clan is a big trophy.

Yes someone can, and that is not the point. We say we are a Norwegian clan just so we can speak Norwegian in chatt... We somtimes have visitors from all over world. We have members from Denmark. But we know.... my English is to poor to pretend to be a English... Even after 9 years school whit English teaching.... No place in world learn people to speak Norsk( Norwegian) And if someone is good anugh in Norwegian to speak in chatt its just wonderfull:) It s not where you from, its can you speak the same language as us?

I hate too loose the clan! Many of the guys have been there since the start:( The clan is one of the oldest one in Norway, we have 5 or 6 feeder clans, some of them whit same lvl as us... We have 1 or 2 clans whit guys that have retired from Clash of clans... For all Norwegian clash of clans players Det Runde bord stand for stability... If we loose it so bee it, but we need to do our best to stop these thiefs! Dont like that SC dont whant me to call them what they are H.A CK. Ers

Try to trick him is my advise. Tell him you'l give him the money. Take the discussion to a different chat (such as Kik) to show him your serious about it. Be polite and stuff too.

Tell him he'll get his money but you want assurance or proof he'll give you the clan after. Then try to convince him to give you leader back before you pay him. Once you have leader no need to pay.

Did he access your leaders account? Or did your leader sell his account (which is against TOS) or hand over leadership?

If the 'thief' compromised the account of your leader, then email supercell in-game and they can sort out the account to (hopefully) get your clan back.

If you are "one of the best clans" in Norway and you all keep in touch on Wechat... Is it so hard to make a new clan with the same name and start over with the same people?

Supercell makes billions of dollars a day but they only have 5 people hired for the support team (and automatic bots). Knowing this, you can't wait 2 months for the response of Supercell. Just move on and make a new clan.

Guys, I was really sad to read about this awful series of events, it must be devastating to potentially lose all the hard work and effort you have put into making your Clan.
I would really like to think that with all the recorded information you have, the documented proof of the hijacking of the clan (although more information might be needed about the original loss of leadership) & the subsequent blatant selling\transferring of the clan,that an investigation by Supercell will at the very least, suspend the clan,& hopefully find a way to return it to you.
All I have been able to offer in the way of support is to PM a Moderator here who I very much respect,& hope he can help in some way through his connections with Supercell.

Until then, very best of luck going forward, hope your patience endures & you get a favourable outcome.

I know that is the solution, but its not a good way... We was a lvl 5 clan... I dont know if you know how hard that will be to get back? We are all TH10 and in war we have Enemies like Battle Rage, Mega, and other top clans.... Its not like doing wars whit a mixed war group... In a mixed clan you can use strategy, its not so much strategy you can use when facing an enemy whit 27 of 30 with max heroes.

If he kicked everyone and then closed the clan it was probably just an alternative account or another account controlled by the ♥♥♥♥er.
It would be a complete waste of money otherwise

Wow he kicked all your members? sad that people buy and steal and destroy clans. It's just a game. It's meant be fun, not worrying about accounts being stolen and your clan being destroyed. Hope your clan members get back together in a new clan or something. Not too surprising, I would expect a lot more of this. A level 5+ clan will have value. The good thing is no one will want to steal a lower level clan like mine. XD It will be interesting to see how well prepared SC is to deal with these situations.

How was the leaders account stolen? You never really explained this bit. It sucks that supercell didn't seem too willing to help even though you had screenshots of these guys trying to extort money from you.

Been watching this thread/that clan, and it's again under a new leader. 9/50, Taiwan, with a full description in a foreign (not English) language. Google Translate translates it as "Here, or in any other league, you have to develop the habit of soldiers donate, otherwise, you will only find tribes, stop for the tribe, so there is no sense of belonging, boring."

Sure hope you guys can get it back, and the [thieves] get banned.

How the original hac´ker got access to our leaders account I don't know. But as soon as he let his account in using our leaders account, he promoted himself to leader.

I have been in Det Runde Bord my whole COC career. That's 2,5 years. We were Norays oldest Clan. We worked hard for our clan.

Does SuperCell really think that we would let an unknown person in to our clan, and promote him immediately? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????

This is just bull? Of course they could set the idiot aside as a leader. THE WHOLE CLAN COULD CONFIRM THAT HE DIDN'T BELONG THERE.



It's been a different person replying every time from customer service, even if I just replied ingame. SuperCells customer service is the worst I've ever seen.

@Daddy: I don't know if Tjay12 has a support ticket number. I didn't get one when I contacted SC. I've just used the ingame contact method.

On another note: Daddy, are you the Daddy that visited us a while back after a ClanWar? If so, you know we were a serious clan, and wouldn't throw away our clan like that.

From what I have read, how this person gained access to your leader’s account is key (as freely destroying your own clan is ruled out).

1. If your leader lost control of his account because he lost control of his email in a phishing attack or something like that, then I hope that you guys get the clan back.

2. If your leader’s login credentials were compromised because he used a 3rd party gem site or tried to sell his account — which are warned against in the stickies in General — then the clan should not be returned. At the same time, I don’t think the hijacker who admitted to paying for it should get it either. In this case, that clan should just disappear.

That said, it is up to Supercell to determine what happened and I hope the first scenario is the one that transpired.

Our leader (Tjay12) lives and breathes for this game. When your at 4500 trophies you have to. He didn't buy china-gems. He doesn't know how his account got hac'ked.

As soon as the hac'ker got control over the clan, Tjay12 got in to his account again, and changed the password. SC then closed his account, Tjays' that is.

The hac'ker and the two buyers has suffered no consequences. This is just wrong in my eyes. We lost our clan, and SC just don't care.

We were Norways second best clan, and the oldest one. We would never just give a random person leader responsibility out of the blue. DO YOU HEAR THIS SUPERCELL!!!!!!????

And our clan is closed, so we can't even request to join, maybe play on his conscience in the request.

SuperCell don't care. To them we are just a number. They don't care that a lot of us has put quite a bit of money in to this game.

I don't understand how the needs of one person, who has admitted to buying our clan, can outweigh the needs of all of us. Especially considering all the evidence we've sent SuperCell.

Our leader doesn't even get answers from SuperCell. Not on his main account, and not on his SUB.

This is really frustrating for all of us. This is something all of you should think about. How will SC react if YOU ever need assistance? Do you think they will help?

Daddy has taken steps to help you resolve your issue, however, as he stated, it's Sunday and those who he's in contact with will most likely not be able to investigate until Monday.

Thanks for understanding. I'll try to restrain myself from strong words in the future.

But this is, as you understand, pretty frustrating.

And this didn't start yesterday. We sent in the first complaints thursday, which is a business day.

What happens if the last person leaves our clan? Will it just be gone? No way of getting it back?

We have all been told to be careful whit our loggin so no one else can can take our acount. Most of these can be fixed tru your Apple account whit secret question and things like this. Still a lot of acounts is stolen every day. No we see a new thing that have a value.
the clans that have some lvl. What can been done to secure your clans?
Stabil clans that have spent years to make a them self a good name. Clans that never have to recruit.... What a loss becouse of some F... Thiefs!
Some clans are more then just the members, some of the clans is what Clash of clans is all about!
We was a big clan in a small country.
Think if this happend to North 44, Quantum, Kings Rock, The 200 Club, In the Dark? These are not just clans, these are much more for every one of us playing this game..... I dont have the solution but now when SC have made the clans have a walue, there should be a way to secure it.... Maybee maximum 1 promotion a day to co leader, and at least 3 co leader inkl the leader to kick another co leader? Or that 5 Coleaders can kick the leader?
At least, what happend to us should not happen again.... Maybee its allready a problem and some allready have payd out to Keep the clan?

If the leader could be set aside by 5 ♥♥♥. leaders concurring, it would have saved our clan. The hac'ker used a day to sell the clan. That would have been plenty of time for us to take action ourselves.

Do you hear this SC? We want this or some other sort of security for the clans in next update. It was you who gave the clans value when you gave the clans lvls. You should also have thought about clan security at the same time.

Could also be that simple that one promotion a day is maximum promotion? To select a leade you have to select a coleader. To be a coleader you have to be Senior for 24 hours and so on......

I don't like the idea of essentially putting in a coup d'etat feature into the game. Aside from what are likely isolated events like yours, the clan leadership system does not need changing.

Something can happen to a leader as well as anybody else here. His acount can be ha.cked. He can be Long time sick, He can loose his passion for coc. One step maximum on promotion every 24 Hours could help us not be afraid of ha.cks enymore.... Most of us will again controll over the acount in 3 days before you loose leadership. But it can also be that simple that some amount of coleaders can promote a new leader... In western world we call that democratic... And that can help us from geting hijacked to.

Clans have never been a democracy - there is no parliament, no judiciary - the leader has the ultimate power. Like I wrote, there is no need to make drastic changes to a game for such infrequent events which impact so few players in a video game. That said, I am glad you guys have backed off your coup d'état idea.

This is a bugs and problems thread so I will look forward to seeing your thread in Ideas & Feature requests and discussing it there.

Thanks! We still hope SC will help us out. With the amount of time and money with have put into the game, they should stribe to perform the most excellent customer service.

I'm trying to get in there, the clan is open again... This game have cost so much anyway, so if I have to pay a little more.... What so.... But how can i be sure to get the clan back? I guess It wont get relised before he have the money? I dont want to pay before I got control over the clan...

@Snafsen: Don't even think about it. If we end up buying our clan back, we're no better than them. That will only encourage other to steal clans/accounts to earn some easy money.

Thats nice:) Wait until they steel "In The Dark" Guess SC will try to fix the problem then. Its not my work to secure this game.... Thats up to Supercell. For me this game is a big waste of money anyway;) They are not asking for more then I spend in gems for a month....

I'm sorry if this will sound blunt - I do realize how disheartening it is to lose a clan level 5 and all its perks/history, but it's every Leader's responsibility to protect their clan (and each individual member to protect their own account).
I have no idea how your account got hijacked but as far as I know, I don't think there's any way our Support team can retrieve the clan and make someone else the Leader, you'll have to double check this with them though.

Nevertheless, if I recall correctly the guy tried to blackmail you and get some money in exchange for the clan. If you have any proof of this, please forward the screenshot to me so we can take action, this sort of behavior has no place in Clash.

@Anoushka: If there's no way you can retrieve our clan, I have a suggestion. You can send the current leader of our clan a message through the game, telling him to let one of us in and promote him to leader, or he'll get banned for extortion. I have photo evidence of this, which I have sent to Daddy. I can send this to you to, but I would really like to know if my suggestion is possible first.

And for the record, he's only one person in the clan now, so if we get our clan back, it will only affect one person in a negative way, the extorter.
But it will also bring faith in SC back to all of us, who's worked hard to get were we were before all of this. I would think this would be in SCs interest?

dude just make another clan same name. like some of the posters said its not hard to get those wins back. what you wanna do next tho might help you get that clan back. get someone to join the clan that got stolen and act like a loyal member(donate alot). get that person to work there way up to co leader. the dude that is running the clan will begin to trust that person(remember use a person he has not seen). eventually if no one joins he will most likely pass on the torch and join a different clan. the trick here is to gain that persons trust dont force it.

also it seems like its the same person trolling you guys. i doubt theres gonna be a new buyer and everytime they gonna say for you guys to buy it off them. so just leave em alone keep 1 account in there and when he gets bored and leaves that account becomes leader. thats it
