How do I attack this base (TH8)

Lightning spell the Air Defence behind the town hall and then funel ur dragons to get the two in front and then send in max cc balloons

will hogs work?

You should show us what level your troops and spells are. As well as what your CC, Army Camp, and spell factory capacities are so we know what you can do.

Looking at the base, hogs seem doable because I only see one location for double giant bombs(the top right corner) but you can easily set them off with one hog rider(I doubt there is a double giant bomb there though). Then you can just use all heal spells on them. You can lure via the top right/top center with a hog or two or a balloon or two. If your hog levels are bad then don't bother with it. Make sure you use your heal spells where the giant bombs probably are, which is probably next to the mortars and he can only have three.

I have max troops for TH8. Level 4 hogs, Level 5 balloons, Level 3 dragons.

Max spells for TH8 as well (3 spells). What should my army comp be for a hog attack?

Send in a hog on the 12-3 o'clock side to lure the CC. Use an archer as an anchor. In your CC have 2 witches and a barb. Send in a few barbs, then your CC, then two wizards. Then, when the defensive CC is going down, send in a golem and wall-breaker so that you can take out the giant bomb position at the mortar to the archer tower. Be patient with your hogs! Do not drop them before the golem has "done his job." Also use a rage to propel your golems and kill-squad to the core.

Then send your hogs in on the opposite side of the golem, drop heals as needed.

Think I have a better chance with hogs that dragons? Never done a hog attack before. What should my army camp consist of?
25 hogs, 1 golem, 5 wiz, rest archers?

1 golem, 10 wizards (do not waste more than 3-4 on CC - you need it for clean-up), 1 archer (place at army camp at 12-3), 4 barbarians (use to distract CC while your wizards and CC goes in for the kill), and 25 hogs.

Bring 2 witches and a barb in the CC, and drop your CC after you have successfully lured the CC.
