Should I upgrade to th9?

I've been in th8 since late November. I'm almost maxed out I just need level 2 valkyries and 83 million gold for walls. However, people in my clan have said to forget about the walls and move on to th9. I'm kinda skeptical about this option because of all the things that come with th9(loot penalty) So I'll let you guys be the judge!

Yeah, your pretty maxed out but, never forget to do your walls afterward

Forget valks, now the choice is if you want skull walls. Me personally am a TH8 fully maxed (excluding valks) on the way to th9. I've heard loot is better as a th9 due to your queen, and with the penalty means you are unable to feel much of a change between the town halls. However, the reason I max my walls is that I cannot face doing th8 upgrades as a th9, I wanna get all the cool new stuff and start in Legos, without having to do my th8 skulls. This may not effect you as much as me, and if you don't mind the look of your walls and e thought of th8 upgrades at th9 then upgrade your th, the loot penalty is not sever when you have the queen. Would like to hear your thoughts :)

Perhaps I could upgrade more than half of my walls?

I think you should finish your walls first, th9 has two wall upgrades to get through, why start out behind? Besides that, if you want to be able to start both x-bows as soon as the th upgrade is done you'll need full gold storages, easier to do if you're not upgrading walls as you go, and easier to defend with upgraded walls.

Your good, it wouldn't hurt to upgrade more of your walls but if you don't care about them as much than it's not the end of the world. When I upgraded to th9 i was about the same in terms of base quality I just had a few more walls upgraded.

Go for 9, your base looks good.

i would upgrade my wall 1st and in the meantime the valkyie..
i would like the color of my town hall as same as my walls..
the choice is yours..
also got tons of things to do when u r th9 later

Start the upgrade to 9 and save one builder to work on a few walls while TH is upgrading :thumbsup:
