I'm excited to see personally, the reward is clearly increasing as we get closer to christmas (see 'rare tree' thread for proof of this that I'm sure you'll wanna see ;)
I just got my first xmas tree today much to my excitment. Itz scary how excited I actually was lol So now I can joyfully await the big day. Although I'm not holding my breath for gem generosity..I mean that would be the most appropriate reward even if itz only a measely 20gemz but either way itz beautiful, flashy and festive! and thatz a gift in itself.

The reward increased once and was pretty soon after the update's release. It has not increased since. Now, Supercell may increase it again, but there is no reason to believe so.Quote:

I'm just trying to get the facts out. I mean who knows if we even know we have to chop down the tree. Supercell never said anything about that, just to keep the tree around. Perhaps there wuld be a little gem tab above the tree on Christmas, like there is over collectors and mines. I'm going to lie low and see what the verdict is on Christmas Day, whether to cut it or not. Sure it's prudent to hold onto the tree, but some people are going overboard. Believing things like putting the present next to it and blowing it up for gems or other such stupid things that will unlock a huge gem windfall.
