Now that I got that out of the way, I can discus questions I have regarding th8 farming.
So, I recently got to th8, very recently, in fact. I am used to farming with barch, almost strictly attacking bases for collector loot, occasionally going for the exposed storage. As I got to th8, I was very discouraged, as I was getting pummeled on defense, with severe loot lose. The way I normally attack is, I attack a base, then train troops and go offline and attack again. However, when I got back on, I was attacked and had to break my shield. Then when I attacked a base, went offline and got back on, I was attacked again. I was clearly getting nowhere fast. So, my first question to you more experienced players is: What is your farming strategies? Like, in my situation would you not break the shield or would you not get off until you had the upgrade you had intended on doing that day? My second question is this: What army composition do you use for farming? When I got to th8, I found some great loot in the collectors. As time progressed, I found most of the loot in storages, inaccessible. However when I got attacked, most th8 would go in with a substantial amount of giants. So, should I do something, with giants, goblins, wallbreakers and archers, or stick with the classic barch? My third question is interrelated with the second: Am I to high in trophies to find good loot in the collectors at th8? My current trophy range is around 1200. My fourth and final question is: What is the best trophy range to find, gold, elixer and dark elixer at?
