Just taking a small sample to see what town hall most players started to use forums.
EDIT: personally, I ran into forums just before maxing th 7 while upgrading to th 8. Main reason I came to forums was to look up people's advice after reaching th 8 as resource raiding felt much more difficult with my barb/archer army I had at the time. Main reason for this poll is to see around when people start to seek forums for advice or even just to hang out in between upgrades.
Was a premie TH 8 at the time.
I started playing about a week or so ago, I discovered the forums day before yesterday, I'm at TH 5
TH6 with a crappy base. Zach here informed me of said crappiness. :D
I was playing for months before I visited the forums, and was at th9.
Lol just started right now on Th7
I started posting at th 6 on my other account for some reason i forgot my password recently and my e-mail was with the same password =/ Not my main e-mail lol. Then I started this account like a week ago I started posting on this one lol (actually posting often). I have started reading at th 4 I think

Joined the forums at september 2012. Was like the first week i started playing, as i saw this was a pretty cool game, i wanted to know more what to expect in the future, so i joined the forums to read on. (always been a forum reader, no poster) :)

Well just right now discovered i mean i knew there was forum but never bothered register since i am now bored i did it.
My currently is lvl 6 i believe. :cool:
at the time i had a level 7 town hall. As the time flew by, i got experienced enough to now have a level 8 town hall. Ahhh memories.
TH5..I think ^^ I know that I played for at least a week or two before checking the forum out. I guess I played just long enough to figure out that there were a ton of things going on that I had no clue about and that they game was awesome enough to have some kind of online presence. I literally typed in the search string "Clash of Clans Forum" :o And then I ended up here.
I definitely wouldn't have kept playing without the invaluable info. posted on this forum from many players still here today, and many that have sadly left us. Once I learned a few tricks to speed my farming up, I was pretty much hooked.
I joined yesterday and I was and still currently am at Town Hall level 5.(:
Joined at a very rushed TH8, cant even remember how i stumbled across the forums.
I came across the forums while i was a premmie th9. Helpful people in my old clan said upgrading my th was the best thing to do. I think I came to the forums just to see what it was about, then i got hooked.
I was TH6 that time, I came here to find good bases for TH7 then when I'm at TH7 my first post is about my base.
th8. using since 3 weeks.
Found out about them through the info bar on the loading screen and checked them out at town hall 7

arrived here @TH8 level 56, level 5 walls, premature.
TH7!!!!! and the forums is where I learnt how to farm.
I am a 10 and just found the forum. I was looking for answers on how some things work. I am one of those who jumped to a 10 too quickly.

I found the forums when i just had skipped th7 and was a hilarious premmie th8 with lvl 2/3 walls..
I was a TH7, and if it wasn't for the forums I'd be one of those ugly premmy TH10's :P
I had been upgrading to town hall level 7 and was looking for a base setup for TH7 and found the forums.
It is pretty funny that almost all of us were or wouldve been premmies when/ if we didnt find the forums in time ..

That "opposition to a common enemy" created a whole lot of flaming; it just directed it all at one person. I have no problem with people disliking Rebelman, but people seriously overreacted to lesmog and I don't see how that can be seen as a positive thing (or a less negative thing).Quote:

A premature TH9, so when I got a iPad I started up again and did it properly. Now I keep my TH9 around to give out Level 6 archers in my feeder clan.
On a side note - upgrade Giants to Level 6 or Barbs to Level 6? at 3 mil elixir and struggling.

I think it was 5 or at 6.
I was a premature TH9 at around level 40. I remember one of the first threads I made was complaining about the loot. I didn't know about the loot penelty at that time.
It's interesting how the results are almost a perfect bell curve...
I actually joined when I was Th7, I can't remember why. But I just started to be more active last month when I was Th8.
I dont remember what TH exactly, but it was about a month after i had started playing.
Like many of us, I was a total noob at the start. Unlike many of us, I looked about for help; first on You Tube (Cheif Pat FTW!) and then on the forums...
Thanks to the sharing of others I was able to progress at a decent rate while avoiding some of the pitfalls that so many are prone to, such as maxing out my THs before advancing and saving my gems for builders. I am grateful for all the help i had along the way and do my best to pay it forward. CoC is simple yet complex. True enjoyment, for me, came when i was better able to understand its subtleties....

Extreme premature TH9. Had no clue about the loot penalties so all I saw was more defenses and walls and upgraded ASAP. Then I got to the forums and learned what Supercell failed to tell me.
I was a very premature th9, the funny thing was that i found the forum by accident! I was searching for the Facebook page, and ended up at the forums. <--- I think this was around early 2013. Since then i have been reading a lot, and posting a bit less :)
I was TH8 upgrading to TH9, premature TH9... Very interesting seeing how many premature TH9's there were.
I think I was TH7 and a bit premature. Quickly learned from the forum how important maxing was.
Joined last month, Th 8 then and still am.
TH6. I lurked for a long while, then I joined yesterday.
Town hall 7. Was a guest when I firsted TH7 then I finally signed up to the forums mid-way maxing out th7.

This is due to you moving out of low level game play and moving in to higher level.
I prematured th9 and came here to figure out why the game was hard to progress in......little did I find out I messed up! Lol
Started reading (and stalking;)) at town hall 7, didn't join until town hall 8. I think i learned about it from the settings menu, i really dont remember. I didnt even farm until i read the forums and saw the error of my ways.:cool:

Th7 because it was the first time i was able to acsess the forums becuase i changed from mobile site to desktop site
