What town hall were you when you started to use forums?

I think it was 5 or at 6.

I was a premature TH9 at around level 40. I remember one of the first threads I made was complaining about the loot. I didn't know about the loot penelty at that time.

It's interesting how the results are almost a perfect bell curve...

I actually joined when I was Th7, I can't remember why. But I just started to be more active last month when I was Th8.

I dont remember what TH exactly, but it was about a month after i had started playing.
Like many of us, I was a total noob at the start. Unlike many of us, I looked about for help; first on You Tube (Cheif Pat FTW!) and then on the forums...
Thanks to the sharing of others I was able to progress at a decent rate while avoiding some of the pitfalls that so many are prone to, such as maxing out my THs before advancing and saving my gems for builders. I am grateful for all the help i had along the way and do my best to pay it forward. CoC is simple yet complex. True enjoyment, for me, came when i was better able to understand its subtleties....

Extreme premature TH9. Had no clue about the loot penalties so all I saw was more defenses and walls and upgraded ASAP. Then I got to the forums and learned what Supercell failed to tell me.

I was a very premature th9, the funny thing was that i found the forum by accident! I was searching for the Facebook page, and ended up at the forums. <--- I think this was around early 2013. Since then i have been reading a lot, and posting a bit less :)

I was TH8 upgrading to TH9, premature TH9... Very interesting seeing how many premature TH9's there were.

I think I was TH7 and a bit premature. Quickly learned from the forum how important maxing was.

Joined last month, Th 8 then and still am.
