What's your guys' opinion on best war castle troops? I use a mix of loon/wiz/witch/minions for a 30 hold and works pretty well, stalls troops for a good while before attack fully begins.

it depend on what attack style that our opponent will use..
Dragon for town hall 7 and below, witches and wizards or hounds (for the laugh they are underrated) and loons for the rest!
Witch, Wiz, Min, and Archer combinations, Double Witches, All archers, and Dragon variations all work well.
My go-to is 1 witch, 2 wiz, 2 mins, and 6 archers.
It depends on what your opponent is using to attack your base. If I had a space for 35, I'll mainly want 1 witch, 1 valkyrie, and the rest archers. However that composition is weak against air attacks.
So many diff mixes you can use. In our clan, our th 10s use max drag and minions. Our th 9s use a mix of loons/witches/minions/wiz/arch. Our th 8s use the witch/wiz/loon combo and our th 6/7 use either drags/valks/loons/arch/witch. I like experimenting with diff troops for my war castle to see which stalls the attack longer.
Valk and a few wizards, or a dragon, valk and dragon have great health and are area attack so taking them out is hard, and if you have a compact base with no weak spots they are very hard to pull
they have been known to be undone by lavaloonian since dragons are slow and valk can't attack, but that requires them to try without pulling
