When you are not in a clan, you can see a list of possible clans to join. Please refer to the attachment.
1) How is this list determined?
2) Why do only clans with 41-44 members show up on the list?
Thanks for the info.

I noticed this before, when I was clan less so I did a little test, I wrote down the names of the clans, well abbreviations of them, then went to home screen and closed CoC. Via the double tap square key. Then logged in again and it was different names. So I wonder if it is somehow tied to the clans that are in your current global chat. Which would be neat.
Supercell picks random clans for you to join.....
they only show you clans that have room to fill. coming from someone that dropped trophies to farm, i can tell you the clans they give as options are based around your trophy level. i got the donation achievement within a few hours by joining, donating troops, leaving clans and joining other clans. at low levels the clans add you automatically so you can jump in and out quickly.
No S**T, who else is giving you a list of clans to join? Santa Clause? As if I thought some deity was giving me a list from heaven? Stop stating the obvious. You are spamming.
When you say RANDOM, it has to mean RANDOM, as in you know that their algorithm for picking the clan is randomized, not based on a certain formula. Random does not mean that you cannot comprehend their algorithm. Clearly from other people's feedback here the pattern does not look random, and you would not say that if you saw the attachment. Random means NO PATTERN. Only having clans that have 41-44 people appear is not random at all.
they have probably coded it this way. why does it matter?
