New Idea-Lightning Spell Defense

Wouldn't it be great if you could stop all those DE stealing lightning spells? I had an idea that could help with that.

LIGHTNING SHIELD
The Lightning shield is a shield that would protect a certain area from A SINGLE blast of lightning. After that, the lightning will have destroyed the shield, and it will take gold/elixir to re-arm it. It would Get bigger as you upgraded it. The lightning shield would not be visible to attackers until the used their lightning spell.

Also, I know that there are already lightning spell defenses out there, but mine was different. It wasn't a "lightning rod" because it was more of a trap than a defense.

These things block out spells so... NEVER!!! :mad:

Wow! A thread about how zapping should be removed! So revolutionary.. So original. After all, it's not like there's about 2,000+ other threads on this same exact subject. Thank you for your original and helpful post.

simple counter to this. put 1 lightning spell. lightning shield is broken. put remaining shields!!! ye. but no. of all the spells, why is it that kids hate lightning spells the most? it's the most useful evah!

lightnings shouldn't gain any resources if they hit a storage, physically the DE would be evaporated and therefore you wouldn't gain anything
anyway cool idea, might be hard to implement

So does dragons, they breath fire which will make the elixirs evaporate. Archers shoots arrows which makes elixir storage to leak. In which case, only goblins can gain you resources.

Anyways, lightning shield is still a bad idea. You don't want to get zapped? Then always buy a shield or stop complaining. :cool:

eh, did you read the lore of DE? dark elixir is 3x more power than elixir. and what are lightning spells made of? elixir. :smirk:

True, thats why they should make a dark lightning spell.
Made with DE and throw one on a PE tank and you do 100% damage.

Just to balance the losses for zappers when they make regular lightning to get DE
Should be available at TH7

Please accept that Zapping is part of the game. Supercell will not do anything to remove these things because it's not a decoration (like the Waterfall) to be removed in an instant without getting negative effects. This is an important aspect of the game. I hope you accept the fact that DE Zapping is part of the game. This ruins the balance in the game.
