League Bonuses

How about when the opponent loses the battle u get their bonuses,it would be small at first but as u get above 2k it will start to help,the goal of the league was to eliminate farming,but that will never happen,but with this idea atleast most ppl will try to get higher trophies and protect their townhalls

This is actually a really good idea! If this were implemented, I would probably redesign my base to protect my TH.

The goal of the leagues was to encourage trophy hunting not to eliminate farming. That is an important distinction.

There is also little upper bound to this. It should not be more profitable to stay offline over being online.

Simplified:
You get attacked
Attacker steals all Dark Elixir (100) and ends battle
Attacker loses 20%(20) of loot
Eventually Attacker grinds loot slow.

I don't think this will stop farming because getting 1 star by 50% destruction. :/
But it's a neat idea, tho.

On many occasions I do agree with you, however not in this one.

This idea will indeed ecourage trophy hunting, since defending your TH will also get you loot. Instead of giving away a free shield you can now try to defend that easy 1 star to get a little extra loot. So in my opinion, this would indeed encourage trophy hunting.

Also I think this will completely eliminate farming. For a farmer it will pretty much be the same. This idea would only have effect on defense.

It is not more profitable to stay offline. The league bonus is too little for that.

Well of course the only way to make this even more affective is to increase the loot bonuses per league

Clearly the league bonus needs to increase. You can't have it both ways. Either this is an incentive to gain trophies meaning those bonuses need to be big and hence it becomes profitable to defend or they remain small and it is more profitable to get a shield.

I mean really if your choice is lose 200K from storages or defend a few times making like 2-5k each time, the cheap shield is still going to be better.

I think that this idea is great but many farmers would not be happy about this.

I agree with dahimi here. As much as I would like to see a nice bonus system for good defenses, I think the currently minute league bonus will not motivate a lot of people to place their TH inside.
