Do you guys create your own design or just copy someone elses?
i create my own so people won't be able to exploit it off the interwebs
I hate building bases and mine always look ugly so I just copy always
it's easier to copy and then throw in some of your own tweaks than rather build it from scratch.
I usually copy my war base and make minor tweaks, only use original farming bases though.
If it's for war copying a design will only hurt you. You should always build your own war base.
Why use someone's base thats splattered across the web? Personally base designing is half the fun

mine are not total copies of the ones i find online, more like derivative work
Designed my own. It nice you see a few of the same style bases, you know how to attack exploiting weaknesses and avoiding strengths. That and the more used patterns are AI trick designed, where I rely on tricking the player in attacking where I want
Same but i copy off vids with 12 views but they work great!

Depends on how I'm feeling. I often copied bases while adding minor tweaks, especially for normal mm. Did make some of my own, but they were all pretty ugly, so even if they did work, I deleted them..
I finally made my own war base though, can't wait to see how it works :) Well, it was crushed by a th10 with max troops and 5 spells, but I'd like to see other th9s attacking it :)
I have always made my own designs. Now I do borrow ideas, like Ill use this 'core' or use a Trophy, or a Farming concept(s) that is popular in my design.
Base design is a huge part of the Replay-Value for Clash IMO. there is more to Clash than "Barching collectors" for some of the gaming population like myself.
Defending loot, or trophies against competent attackers is tricky business, but I enjoy the challenge. and it brings me back.
Each TH has its own strengths and weaknesses against its own ilk. and that makes it fun too. because I have cpl accts.
Copy. Don't have much time to put such effort to design a base. Usually all my time are all being burned just by farming resources. :rolleyes:
