the good side of supercell support
I see posts everywhere talking about how poor Supercell's support is. In many cases, these complaints are completely valid. However, in some cases, such as in mine two days ago, their support is quick and effective - not exactly what you would expect from a company of their size. Last year, I had a second account which I primarily used to visit clans other than my own. Around December, I decided to quit the game and removed the account from my device. When I returned to the game earlier this year, I found that I was missing my old account as I had put a lot of time and effort into farming it up into a decent village, but knew that it was gone forever as I had not backed it up to Google Play or Game Center. This changed two days ago (at the time of this writing), when I decided to get in touch with Supercell thru the in-game Contact function. Their initial response came within 5 hours of my writing to them, and I received some questions to prove that I am the owner of the account. Today, within two days of my writing to them, I received the code to link the village to my new device, and have taken this experience as a strong warning to back up my village. I am sure this is not the first time Supercell support have responded so well to player difficulties, but I do think the good things get buried under the bad, when they are posted.
