for my first troop upgrade i opted for barbs. i barch a lot so i figured i could get some value out of them as soon as they're done. i have three days left on barbs, and my dark rax upgrade for witches completes in two days. i have my queen up to 7 currently and have 35,000 DE saved up. should i wait to upgrade witches and immediately get them to level 2 or get my queen to level 8 and farm elixir for bloons as an alternative?

For farming I use the base "The Originator" by VinnyXO.
When I spend all my loot (elixir wall, gold wall, hero upgrade) I switch to the base called "The Strategist" by mpoh98.
The first 2 months of TH9 almost made me quit :)

You get more out of a troop level than you do a single hero level, it's really every fifth hero level that is big. I'd probably choose the lab over the hero because of that, so long as the troop going into the lab is one you use or plan to use for war.
