Greetings players of Clash of Clans! I am here to introduce my trap: "THE CAGE".
Introduction:
I created this trap to make the game more thrilling and more interesting. And also,I have searched some of these ideas in the forum,and I also thought of it as a good idea,but I remodeled it. I see that many ideas thought that troops trapped inside can be used as your troops to defend your village in future defenses or use them to attack villages. I think this is a bad idea. So I think of something different about this trap. Read this post to know further information about my idea.
Description:
This is a trap that triggers when a unit/a group of units (of course,just like other traps). But this trap is different to other traps. It doesn't kill,damage or takes the troop out of the battle. Hence,it only "TRAPS" the unit.
★What happens when a troop is trapped inside? The troop will not attack buildings. He's absolutely CAGED. The troop will be released as soon as the cage is destroyed by the trapped troop.
★When it will be triggered? When a troop or a group of them steps on the area affected by this trap.
★How does it work/help you defending the village? Here's the tip, I suggest that this trap must be placed near the Defenses. The troop trapped will destroy the cage first before attacking other buildings. While the troop is busy destroying the Cage,he will be beaten up by the nearby defenses.
This CAGE TRAP is great slowing units similar to Air Sweeper.
Other Information about this:
★Allied Troops nearby the Trapped Troop will help the Troop get out.
★It is best that this trap is placed near the defenses because it distracts the Attacking troops for a brief period of time.
★For the defender,the Clan Castle Troops and/or Skeleton traps will NOT attack the Trapped troop.
★I expect that you will be probably confused that when the Defending Clan Castle Troops/Skeleton Trap attacks the Attacking Troops. I found a way to settle it. The Troops of the Attacker will need to DEFEAT first the Defender's Clan Castle Troops. While the Trapped Troops in the CAGE will not attack the Defender's Clan Castle Troops,in other words,the trapped troops cannot be distracted by other things. This will balance the gameplay.
★Troops outside the trap that have FAVORITE TARGETS such as Giants, Hog Riders, Goblins, Wallbreakers, Balloons, Golems/Golemites, and Lava Hounds will not help the Trapped Troop destroy the CAGE TRAP. But if one of the mentioned troops above is caught in the trap,he will destroy the trap first before destroying his favorite buildings.
★It does not trap Heroes,Golems,or P.E.K.K.A.
★It can trap fast units even Goblins affected by the Rage Spell.

★Level 3 Cage Trap: Silver Iron Bars

Time to build: 12hrs.
Upgrade Time: 1day/3days/5days
Trap Description: "Bad people are more likely to be jailed and tortured."
The Weakness of this trap is Troops with high damage (Wizzards/P.E.K.K.A,Dragons) because they can destroy it in matter of seconds. A horde of barbarians and archers can destroy it easily.
