Hey guys,
i am a th9 and im looking on some advice on how to 2-3 star a th9 with gowiwi or gowipe and which one is better. I've been using hogs and ballonian in wars but I realised its not enough to 2-3 star hard th9s, and I have no idea on how to gowiwi or gowipe so I was looking for some advice. Any advice is welcomed!

I usually go for GoWiPe but sometimes, when the base is too spread out, I go for GoWiWi & end up with a 3 star. If it's harder to reach the core, I prefer using Pekkas since they get the job done of taking out the Th pretty fast with a rage spell & when the base is spread out, Skeletons do well.
I use 3 Golems, 2 Pekkas [4 Witches for GoWiWi], 16 Wizards [17 Wizards for GoWiWi], 4 Archers [2 Archers for GoWiWi], 6 wbs
CC troops: Wizards
Spells: 1 Lightning [to take out CC troops], 1 Heal [For Wizards], 1 Rage [For Core], 1 Jump Spell. I replace the Jump spell with another rage spell in case of GoWiWi.
GoWiPe as a Th9 is strong enough to 2 star even maxed out Th9s; even with lvl 1 Golems [As in my case]. :p

If you want to get 3 stars I recommend you learn to use GoWiWiPe with backside Loons. It is incredibly effective against the right kind of bases. You want to use it against bases with central AD's. The primary objective of your ground assault is to take out the core and all 4 AD's after that you send in the loons to clean up the outer defenses.
The exact mix of troops should be "flexible" based on the uniqueness of the base you plan to attack but try this out: 1 golem (Max if possible) in cc, 1 pekka, 4 witches, 12-14 wizards, 7 wallbreakers, 1 golem, 8-10 balloons and then heroes. As for spells I usually take, 1 jump, 2 heal, 1 rage but again be "flexible" with your spell selection based on the base.
Basically I drop golems, break the funnel, drop heroes, and punch a hole as deep as I can into the base with wb's. I use a heal to keep my troops alive til they get to the core. I use a jump to help get me the rest of the way to the core, and then I rage the core and use my last heal in the core to keep my troops alive. As soon as the last AD is down send in the loons. Remember to use "targeted" drops.

Basic Tips for GOWIPE/GOWIWI
1) SPREAD your golems, but not too much.
2) DO NOT waste your wall breakers. Losing them may result on a 0 stars attack.
3) PROTECT your mages, they are the main source of DPS so, do not bunch them up to lose them all to a giant bomb, and keep an eye on their healt to time your heal.
4) USUALLY attacking from a corner on a diagonal fashion is more effective.

i'll have to agree, a GoWiWiPe hybrid is a better option then either or.
I usually throw together:
2 Golems
6-8 Wallbreakers
2 Pekkas
2 Witches
A couple of archers or minions to help with the funnel creation
The rest wizards
In the CC - Pekka, wiz and arch
2 Rage 2 Heals
I do not lure and just use the tanking power of the golems and the incoming pekkas and wizards to handle that. A thing i always tell the clan members is to keep their golems up and going for as long as possible. The faster they go down, the easier the attack can fail. Another priority is creating that funnel, so make sure you remember that.

I've had many no-lure raids go wrong; so my 1st-Raid-army almost always has a few Hogs to get those buggers out (hopefully ko a turret) and a kill squad (Archers Wiz Witches) to eliminate them before I get into the crux of my strategy. (unless there is a replay and I know that I don't NEED to lure based off that intel)
