Lightning Kite!!!!!!

First let me say i cant draw for peanuts..
But my idea is simple to stop those lighting hits on your gold and elix storage I thought of a Kite that only has a limited area of protection from lightning that catches it into a battery (gives +elix?) saving your resources in that small area from being hit.. this makes the attacker actually fight for the gold or elix

would be something small only taking 1 square, but it's a fat battery or capacitor hooked up to a kite with keys on the end to attract lightning!!!
what do you think? good idea? let me know.. also I'd encourage anyone that knows how to actually draw give it a go and post here ... Thanks!:cool:

So this is basically a bubble around the storages. Nope. Ruled out. Please read stickies. Lightning storages is part of the game.

not all storages .. could be used for anything, but would only protect a small part it wouldn't do ALL storage areas... kinda the same way a tesla could absorb it aswell

I like this idea, only if after absorbing one spell the battery explodes and does 5 times the damage it absorbed into a large splash area.

I agree this would be bad, however it is not in the ruled out section of the sticky, it's actually in the "under consideration part" as a lightning rod, not a kite.

ANYTIME I am about to quote the under consideration/ruled out sticky, I read it first, to make sure I don't misinform people. It's a good rule of thumb.

Yeah I still think this is a great idea... even if it's in the not sure section :cool:
I like the idea of a battery explosion too if you dont collect the energy / elix from it in time

Similar to the DE Zapping problem, but with Gold/Elixir Storages. Resource Zapping is part of the game and anything that counters this will unbalance the game.

True, and those who zap gold and pink Elixir are just plain stupid, zapping a PE tank gives 2000-5000PE making a spell cost 20000 PE.

If anyone does that to me Im gonna laugh because he lost more as he could gain
