My Anti Dragon/Anit Hog Anti GoWiPeTH8
I built this base to be extremly difficult to three star using Mass dragons, Dragloon, Gowipe or Hogs vs TH8 attackers. I am in a strong war clan and know that three staring in wars vs two staring is always the difference between wining and loosing. If I can stop ANY and Every Th8 from three staring my base, then I consider my job on defense won. If I can prevent a TH9 from three staring my base then I consider that a gift.

My base features:
- Centralized CC: Only balloons can lure the CC troops. Or if the attacker wants to waste 4 or more hogs to take down one of my out post defenses.
- Multiple double giant bomb locations
- Centralized BK

I built this base mid TH8 so alot of my defenses are close to max. I focused on maxing my AD, teslas, splash damage and AT first. I figured that If I max my defenses against dragons and ground attacks, my base would do better against those attacks. So far I have only been two stared. Those attacks were from dragloon and Gowipe attackers using max Th8 troops in each style. I was also attacked with level 4 hogs and the resilt was no stars.

I do not know how well this base would work without level 6 AD, max teslas and level 9 AT. I dont garantee this base will hold up against max dragons or level 4 hogs with weaker defenses. Let me know your thoughts. I would appreciate it if anyone interested in trying this base will post their results.

I think ink it's a pretty good layout, my worries are the tesla on the outside, the cannons and archer towers aren't in very good positions because they don't cover the whole base, and the middle is too big making it easier for gowipe

We use a varios combos that include witches, wizards, archers, balloons and dragons.

The tesla on the outside is there to help take out and guide max balloons released from an attackers CC towards it rateher then the AD at the top. Without it an attacker could take out one of my core AD with lightning, funnel his dragons on either side of my base and finally release balloons at the top to take out my AD at the top.

As for Gowipe, I was Almost three stared last war from a TH9 using three max golems, three max pekkas and 20 extra troops. He got 99% on my base and probably would have three stared if he had his AQ or reserved an archer for my remaining builder hut. With that said I was also attacked twice by TH8 using Gowipe. Both got less the 70%. If my base had weaker walls and defenses, it might be more difficult to defend against a max th8 Gowipe attack. I am not used to seeing alot of Gowipe attacks. I dont think alot of people know how to three star TH8s using the method. This war however, our opponent had a few players that were skilled enough to three star other bases with it. A few of those base were TH8s with stronger defenses but weaker walls then my base. I am not sure if my base did better bc of the walls or the layout.

Alright thanks. I have max cannons, mortars, AD, AT and about 80 walls level 8. I'm currently working on my wizard towers and teslas. The war just started, I haven't been attacked yet. I'll let you know how it goes.

I got two stared by a max TH8 gowipe. I was only attacked once and we ended up winning the war by 1 star.
I'm definitely going to use the base again next war.

looks good, vulnerable to jumps but they're unlocked at th9 and you probably won't be facing any of them and expect to win so good base :)

IF its a TH9 attack, I dont expect to prevent three stars

I have never seen TH8 use such strategies. I rarley see th8 using withches in their clan castles. I dont expext to prevent three stars from every combination with this base. I built this base to prevent against dragons, hogs and Gowipe from ANY and all TH8s only. I say this also only with my level of defenses against max TH8. If you can show my an anti everything base, I would love to check it out.

I especially dont expect to stop TH9 attackers from crushing my base using the proper troops and placement. No TH8 is equiped even w max defenses to stop 220 troops one level higher with an AQ and possibly stronger BK, not to mention an extra spell.

Thanks for the reply. If a TH9 needs to take me out for the extra star then I feel my base has done its job. When a TH9 fails to crush my base then I laugh...:cool:
