Ye man, it's tough as TH10. A few guys in my clan pull it off, I'll share some clips soon for you buddy

As a high TH 9, 3 starring another high TH9 is still a crapshoot. A 3 star approach, for me is still fraught with too much uncertainties and drawbacks, that I generally aim for a 2 star strategy. I am in awe of people who can consistently initiate a 3 star strategy and win at a high TH level.
Interesting! I never thought to use a hexalaloon strategy! You might be on to something.
I've been watching laloon vids and practicing for 2 months and haven't 3 starred a th9 yet. I 3 starred once using golaloon on a crappy base.
I miss the days of th8 and getting 6 stars every war with dragloon.
i use both gohowiwi and gowipe for my attacks, depending on what the base i'm attacking is.
I prefer gohowiwi for bases that are open so the witches and skeletons are able to roam easier, and gowipe for the busier bases.
I guess I'm the outcast in this conversation, since I'm still a TH8.
I really like Dragloon, because sometimes all-Dragons seems too cheap or boring, and because I love Balloons. I've tried using mostly Balloons, but I've have at least a few end badly because the skeleton traps were set to air.
I haven't used GoWiPe in War yet because I want to upgrade my Pekka and have time to practice with it (I'm currently upgrading Golem to level 2), but I've gotten better with ground attacks since I was TH6 and 7 and failed with Giants a lot and got mad and left my old Clan in shame. I use Giant-Healer-Wizard every once in awhile now.
Hogs is probably the most common TH8 attack that I've never used, either in War or out. I'd like to find any other attack strategies, but I haven't seen any and can't think of any.
But yeah, my most consistent 3-star strategy is Dragon or Dragloon, sometimes with 3 Lightning spells but usually with 2 Rage and a Heal.
For th9, I use 4 golems, 14-15 wizards, 6-8 wall breakers, 2 witches, 2 Rage, 1 Jump and 1 healing. Depending of the base, I get 2 (near 3) or 3 stars.
